There are just piles and piles of dressers, tables, chairs, and sofas. Most of the furniture is wood and most of it seems to be midcentury modern with a large range of quality and prices. If you are looking for a Luxo lamp, this is also a good place to come as they have a large selection. The stands or stalls here are not so defined, everything sort of merges into each other. Some stalls have mobile numbers posted so I guess you can call the owner if you want to buy something and they are not around. In terms of clothes, accessories, and jewelry, this is not a very good flea market at all. The interesting thing about this place is really the old ship yard space itself. The open trusses are beautiful. The best vantage point in the building is certainly the elevated platform which holds hundreds (if not thousands) of wooden chairs. From there, you get a bird's-eye view of the flea market around you. The coolest thing I found there was a vintage blue phone booth. But there was no way I could take that home =(

I needed it shipped to the United States, he said that he would charge me extra for shipping fees. I paid it.... the lamp has not arrived. I've been emailing, no response. I've also phoned, no response. I have reason to believe I've been scammed. The payment (more than 2000€) was made by bank transfer from Berlin, Germany a week later. Half a year later, we were still waited for the furniture. After that, the shop was allegedly closed and owner Mr. Arash was no longer available. Our money, we feared, was gone too. Countless phone calls with Mr. Saha in the shop in Norebro, the Danish embassy and a criminal charge to the police in Helsingor (!) finally brought a year later Mr. Arash to bring us the furniture to Berlin even personally. The quality of the furniture is great. Thanks to Mr. Saha in Norebro, who helped us. Thanks to the police in Helsingor, who advised us well. Although we can finally look forward to the furniture, I can say that if I had read the reviews on the internet before buying, I would never have bought there. Therefore our advice: In Norebro buy from Mr. Saha or leave it entirely!

Supercute, pricey modern Danish design living store…read more After having a disappointing time at the Design museum, we went out the next day expressly looking for modern shopping. So after a lunch and wander around Torvehallerne, we stumbled by this store. Very cute design-y stuff, pricey of course to these American eyes but still really nice stuff. Them and another store across the street had some of the best modern design touches we'd seen in all of Copenhagen, definitely worth a visit for home goods if in the area.

I know I have been skeptical toward second hand shops lately, but this place is a treasure trove!!…read more The first floor is reserved for big stuff as furnitures on the front and more delicate items on the back. You are dreaming of owning one of those old fashioned vases that used to adorn your grandmother's living room? You'd probably find it here. Also looking for Christmas album CD anno 1995 featuring WHAM and the likes? You'd also probably find it here. The big hit for me is on the second floor. Up the stairs and to the left they have very comfy designed library-lookalike with rows and rows books for sale with price tags showing fractions of what the original prices were. Books sold here are extremely in good condition, unlike in several "Antikvariet" I have been to, but there are obviously newer books too. To put it shortly, if you're about to give someone a book as a present from here, they wouldn't know if it's second hand and it's good for the whole saving environment stuff isn't it? Less trees to fell for your books. Next to the book room, there's the children articles occupying the space. Clothing, toys, you name it. On the right side of the upper room there is the second hand clothing area. They all look in very good condition, I guess The Red Cross is very good at vetting these clothing. I did a browse to see if there's anything I like. Alas, I'm quite picky when it comes to clothing. But hey, it's worth checking out, and when you need to give (Christmas) presents, this place is maybe worth to look at.
