My esthetician was in a huge rush and my shellac was destroyed by just the second day.

First of all, I walked in SERVING looks -- lashes on, brows laminated, giving main character -- and…read morethey looked at me like I was a side quest. Rude. I asked for a simple coffin shape and left with what I can only describe as "crypt keeper claws." My nails look like they went through a haunted car wash. The tech had the audacity to chew gum like she was mad at it while filing my nails like she was sanding drywall. I flinched so many times I unlocked a new fear response. I said I wanted "nude" and she gave me a shade that looked like beige depression. My pinky nail is literally longer than my attention span. At one point she dropped the nail glue on the floor, picked it up, BLEW ON IT, and kept going like we weren't in 2025. Babes, I came for acrylics, not a tetanus shot. AND THEN -- she charged me $75 and told me, "Come back next time, we'll fix it." Ma'am. I won't be back unless it's with a lawyer and a priest. Piece out -L

Yesss OKAY let's flip the switch -- here's a savage, unhinged, *sassy AF* **bad** review for a nail…read moresalon that had *one job and still fumbled harder than a dollar store lash in a hurricane*: NAIL NIGHTMARE -- 0 STARS BUT I'LL GIVE ONE SO I CAN DRAG THEM Babyyyy when I tell you this salon *did me dirty*, I mean "crime scene but make it fashion" levels of disaster. I walked in a hot baddie. I walked out looking like I lost a fight with a cheese grater. AND THE GRATER WON. Let's start with the *vibes* -- or lack thereof. The music? Static. The decor? Early 2000s trauma. One of the chairs was *duct-taped*. A roach looked at me and nodded like, "You sure you wanna do this, sis?" I showed the tech a pic of the cutest ombré set and she said, "Yeah, I can do that!" Ma'am. No, you can't. What I got looked like *a melted popsicle had beef with my fingers.* The shape? Coffin. The finish? Cursed. My pinky nail is doing the gangnam style. Midway through, she answered the phone with her *elbow* and then said, "Oops." That "oops" lives rent-free in my nightmares now. She cut my cuticle like she was mad at it. I bled. She sprayed alcohol on it and said, "That means it's clean!" Girl what? Then she hit me with the bill like she just performed surgery. $95 for what? A public humiliation experience?? I've seen better nails on cartoon characters. One of them legit popped off while I was still in the parking lot. The only thing that slayed was my soul. Don't walk, RUN AWAY from this salon. Unless you want trauma with a top coat. Then sure, go ahead. Bring a first aid kit.

I just moved to Montreal (west island) this year and have been in pursuit of a great aesthetician…read more My search ended today when I found Manon. She is fantastic! She did a wonderful Brazilian, by far one of the least painful I have EVER had! And believe me that says a lot as I am a Toronto native and our standards for Brazilians are very high. She did an impeccable job, very accurate and, of course, she never double dips in her wax. I loved how professional, quick and friendly she was. I also had my eyebrows done at the same time, which of course she did a fabulous job of. I like my brows natural and she did them perfectly. Plus I have a low pain tolerance when it comes to plucking and usually tear up, amazingly she was so gentle I could have fallen asleep!! The spa itself has a gorgeous homey atmosphere. Very clean and warm! We were immediately greeted and offered the usual coffee/tea/water. We were then were led upstairs to two comfy chairs to await our appointment, which we did not wait long for. Now for the real kicker: PERFECT PRICE! If you're looking for the right place on the west island for any of your waxing needs, Manon is certainly it.

Its very intimate body part and you need to feel comfortable in order to minimize pain, I felt very comfortable and was practically painless. As a surgical nurse, I can say it is very clean practice and was even able to remove a very deep and painful ingrown hair. I would not trust any other esthetician. In 30 minutes, she did a brazilian and removed my complete arm hair. I really want to try a pedicure on my next visit. There are promotions sometimes, so its a good idea to bring a friend.
