LOVED THE OCEAN PARK!…read more I got to see the fishies, penguins, crocodile, birds, chickens, and many more! The only thing is the payment. It's so confusing and we never know which ones we have access to or not have access to. We had to pay extra for some ventures, but didn't clarify. It's kid-friendly. Great for family days. Will come back with the kids next time!! :)

I can't say much about the price of admission... we were doing other things around Manila so we stayed in the connecting hotel H20. We planned to visit the aquarium anyway but we received two free tickets just by staying at the hotel. The exhibits consist of a bird show, sea lion show, oceanarium, trails of Antarctica, super toy collection, creepy crawlies, and jellyfish exhibit. There are some fish but I honestly felt like there were more bugs and other animals throughout the aquarium. I almost skipped over the Toy Collection exhibit... was I stupid for almost skipping it? I had a ton of fun in that section. lol. I do want to point out two things. The bird show and the sea lion show! When I visit places like this, I typically don't put much faith into these shows. My fiance had been there a long time ago, watched another show, and insisted. So we made sure that we made it to the back-to-back bird/sea lion show. It was so much more fun than it had any right to be. The main host/ringleader of those shows was this pregnant lady... I think she might be the best person to ever do that job! The highlight was without a doubt the animal shows.

A visit to Greenhills will never be complete without going to Regina Gift Shop…read more When I was a kid my parents would remind me that it's a gift shop meaning I went in to buy gifts for other people. I believed that lie until I was about ten. I guess that was to prevent me from buying all the awesome goodies this shop has to offer. Sorry, parents. I'm buying gifts for myself. They have everything! And I really mean everything. They have all my childhood candies next to a stand of plastic balloons. You know, those little tubes which you squeeze until this substance comes out which you blow into with the use of a little stick. There's a shelf with plates, spoons and forks and knives, cups and lunchboxes. And in the center, you'll find notebooks, stickers, pens, art materials, cellphone cases and the occasional sex toy. Speaking of toys, they do have toys for babies and children and adults who collect toys. Not into those things? They have bags, clothes and hats too. I remember being dragged here by my mom whenever I needed a costume for school. "You're only going to wear it once anyway. But it at Regina," she'd say. Don't get me wrong, their clothes don't break after one use. They have cool socks and hats. And sometimes if you're lucky, they have sell Christmas stockings. I can't remember everything they sell at this shop. So it would be great if you have a look for yourself. You won't be disappointed and you'll leave with lots of loot.

Another toy shop I like going to is Toys R Us…read more I visited the shop today to see if they had any new Mr. or Mrs. Potato Heads. They didn't have any new ones, but they did have the crazy looking Mrs. Potato Head. They also had the Marvel Potato Heads. When I saw the Marvel Potato Heads, I thought about looking through the Marvel toy brand. It was interesting to see that Play-Doh has like a Hulk, Captain America, Iron Man and other Marvel characters. I'm not sure what the toys does, but I wanted to get it for the simple reason that it's Marvel. Another new Marvel toy they have is this rubber figure of Iron Man, Captain America and Spiderman. They toy doesn't really do anything. It's not a key-chain and you can't really play with it, but the kids in the store thought it was amazing. I hope they'll have the whole Avengers team next time including the new members.

Other parents may find the notorious "DisneyCollectorBR" and "FunToyzCollector" of YouTube familiar, and to blame, for this craze. Toys R Us really is something, though. I remember my visits to LA being incomplete until I picked up a Super Soaker or toy laboratory set from Toys R Us. Now, the Philippines has this haven of happiness.
