Also I really wish their turn around time was a little quicker, it typically seems to take around 6 hours +\- for them to get thru your stuff; so I always have to return the next day, which isn't the most convenient.

As part of their service they like to make sure that you are educated as a buyer, which was great for me being that I had never bought a diamond ring before. They had booklets that I could keep and worked with me for about a hour just educating me about diamonds. They brought out several diamonds, showing me different qualities and sizes so I knew exactly what I wanted and why diamonds are priced the way they are. They even told me to go to a few other location first to get a feel and talk to other stores just so I could understand the market and then decide if the ring I had picked there was still the ring I wanted the following week. Overall they really care about their customers and they don't work off of commission, so they are not pushy. The only draw back is that they are still upper end so I would seriously consider your budget if you are planning on buying a ring here. It's well worth it but if you you don't have a solid amount saved up you may be only disappointed when you see all the other rings in the store.

The owner has expanded and this location holds all types of wonderful items from artists from across the country. The selection is not overwhelming but gives you plenty to look through. Very few places have office furniture in Des Moines, NONE have the selection of JG's. They have both new and used and I purchased a little bit of both. They have fake plants, real plants, art, desks, shelving, chairs and they even had some really cool lockers. Jake stayed after close helping us get measurements (even though he knew we were not buying anything that night) and then went out of his way to make sure I had a quote that night so I could decide on what I wanted. He was very accommodating and even put up with my back and forth on a couple items. He made sure it was delivered quickly so my office was up and running and then met me Saturday (they're closed Saturdays) when I decided I wanted an office chair. I can't say enough good things about this company. Iowa owned and operated (as in the family actually works there)! They even gave my daughter an arrow head before we left which absolutely made her day. Support local, support good people, and get yourself a heck of a deal!
