I've bought everything from MCM wicker to homemade plaster face masks-- who I have named are Harold and Sam-- to odds and ends dinnerware and appliances. (Did you know you can still find glass Tang pitchers??) I'm also a huge fan of their photo frames and art collection... Everything is priced to move, and I have bought beautiful antique frames for my own artwork for a fraction of the typical cost. These prices can't be beat! I'm addicted to this experience, and we go out of our way to visit Granny each time we come to Warren. She is the best! I have found a friend in her and it makes it even more fun to visit the store. You really won't often get this kind of special interpersonal interaction at a store anymore. This place is a cannot-miss if you're into affordable antiques and cleaned up secondhand pieces. Everything there begs to come home with me. It's both amazing and horrible, lol. Also, fwiw, this place is quietly/modestly a gay- and trans- friendly environment. As a trans person, I have never once felt unwelcome, nervous, or shit on in here. The staff is lovely, and Granny is literally everyone's grandma. We usually hit this place up for birthday party decorations, gift bags, balloons and even candy and small toys to fill the gift bags with. As in the name, it's a buck or less. They have everything you could imagine a store like this would have. The staff, at least when I have been there, are friendly. The store can seem a bit cluttered and slightly unorganized at times but they have what you need in a pinch. Is a great place to get your holiday gift wrapping items of which we took advantage of this year. Not a bad place to walk around and see what cheap stuff they have. I know we will continue to go here simply because it is cheaper to buy the items I mention above here than to buy them from Walmart next door.

I noticed only one salesperson but assumed there was at least one or more in the backroom or something but this wasn't the case. This young lady was by herself but did such a fantastic job at handling it, it was worthy of a review. I wish I could remember her name but at times she was handling more than one customer at a time and do so more than efficiently. Anywho.. everything is a dollar as we all know. This store was pretty clean and the customer service was good and everyone looked presentable. They were closing at the time and still let me in to grab some small travel size things for my next flight out of town. The isles looked exactly the same as any other one. I found what I needed with ease and was out of there within 5 minutes. The parking lot was quite dirty with papers and trash everywhere but I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt tonight because it was super windy. Other than that same ol, same ol. No different from any other dollar tree. Woopdy doo!

My salesperson was Billy and he was super helpful…read more This location is large and has a large clearance section, which Billy showed me first and I found a great chair at a clearance price. I also bought the Meyer sofa and Billy showed me the fabrics in stock for the sofa. It was also on sale. He explained every item on the receipt and their policies for damage for the insurance and delivery costs, etc. He also sent me everything we had discussed and the receipt in an e-mail. Because my items are in stock, they are being delivered very soon. I would recommend this location and Billy very highly.

But I'm not saying don't give this store a chance, it has its pros & cons just live every business. I was able to purchase two outdoor light fixtures for $10.00 less than at a major chain hardware store. They also offer a really nice selection of kitchen and bathroom cabinets at a reasonable price and had some beautiful glass shower door options. Yet, it is a buy it when you first see it type of place because it more than likely will not be there if you leave & come back.
