I purchased a pair of pants for me son there this weekend and it's the same brand and size I've always purchased with no issues. Well the ones I got this weekend must have been defective because when I washed then they fell apart. I went ahead and dried them knowing I wanted to either return or exchange them. The store manager whom I spoke with told me they wouldn't accept them because I already washed the pants and that my washer could have caused the damage. I have a very high end front loader and can say with certainty that it wasn't my washer. I laughed because I thought he was joking. He was not and argued with me for a few moments before finally accepting them for a return. At this point I was frustrated and did not want to exchange them. I can't believe he even took the time to want to dispute the issue. It was clear the pants were defective and had come apart at the seams. I gave two instead of just one star because this was my first issues over ever had and he did wind up giving my money back. Then before I left he admitted he would have been upset too. If that was the case then why even waste my time? I would recommend going to the local department store where they have hassle free returns.

On the way out; I asked another associate if I could just order the boots there at Kohl's before I left. The associate, Janelle, was busy putting out new items of shipments. But she was more than willing to show me how to use the kiosk. She was a great help. I didn't realize until the next morning that my billfold was missing. After looking for it, I decided to give Kohl's a call to see if I left it there. Sure enough. I probably left it over by the kiosk. If an employee turned it in; I have to say there are some honest people working there. I was so relieved to find that my billfold had all the contents still there. We shopped at our local Derby Kohls two days ago and the experience was wonderful. Our cashier was a darling, had I gotten her name I would have put her name in for an employee recognition. today was drastically different from days and experiences before. Today, I entered the store not dressed my best, as I am not feeling the best. Shopping with me was my oldest daughter, youngest daughter, and grandson. My daughter and I eventually went different areas of the store on the hunt for an interview outfit. Baby of course after running around a few mins, that he had a poopy diaper. My daughter decided she would walk out to my vehicle in parking lot and change him and return in afterwards. Sometime during this 10 min span...my daughter and grandson were racially profiled. Yes. Followed, watched, and then a police officer appeared on the grounds in parking lot. Same thing, watching and following her like a criminal. Keep In mind this child of mine was honor roll in college, served on several civil rights groups on campus, was a resident assistant, worked in office at her school, has volunteered at countless youth, women, and events to gain awareness on Domestic violence. But none of that mattered today, for today she was just a color. Not a human being, not a single mother working every day to support her child, but a Color. When I used my Voice to get names and police officer information. I was not Taken seriously and was even spoken down to by the Kohls staff. I am not just leaving this review. I am taking further steps to ensure this type of behavior will stop and not be tolerated. Don't go to Kohls in Derby. If you don't fit the description of what looks like a picture perfect person. you too could face the same disgusting treatment we received today!

Once to haul junk, once to move furniture and once to move it back. The hauling went well. No issues. The second appointment and a half was rough. They came and said they have to come back a second day to haul off my range and move my refrigerator. I thought everything was ok. I receive a phone call that they can't move my refrigerator to the garage because they can't remove refrigerator doors. Thus, they left it for my flooring guys to move around. (They told me they were a full service moving company.) 3rd time I had an appointment from 8-10. I waited until almost 10 to call and ask where they were. They said they would get back with me. About a 1/2 hour later they called and said they would be there around 12. After that I receive a phone call they will be there in 1/2 hour. They finally came about 1:30. There are two other scheduling issues I had with them, but I won't go further. The staff was friendly, but just not professional. No, I would not re-hire them.
