I went in to buy a specialty pencil and possibly some small tools at Evans ceramics. I was quoted a…read moreprice on the pencil that was lower than the price on it. I pointed this out and suggested I could buy some additional tools if the salesman gave me the price he quoted in the first place. This would loose him 2 dollars on the pencil but gain him 14 on the tools. So he wouldn't go for that so I just bought the pencil. When I asked if they carried an expensive type of glaze he said they did and walked away. I'm willing to spend more to buy local but not if you treat me badly when I shop with you. These were small items but I've been looking into some more expensive kilns and other supplies. I'm also the person who does a lot of the buying for a local art center. Unfortunately I will be purchasing online from now on.

Did not hear at all from them with the shipping details. Called their phone line after the week had passed, and was told it was not packed or shipped and at that point I requested a refund. Refund was issued, and owner called back and left me a voicemail full of excuses and placed the blame on me ! , at which point I was not interested in hearing. Deleted. The lady on the phone said It "fell thru the cracks". WHAT ? This was a one of a kind piece of stage apparatus, one of 6 made in the world, not a 20 dollar pocket trick. No further business from me and suggest to anyone not to use this company.

One kind staff member at a local big box recommended Art & Frame as the place to go for top notch quality. He was so right!! The Owner and his daughter and additional staff were so wonderful. Their frames are real solid wood, the service and work is impeccable and our item was done quite quickly. They are a bit more money, but we think it's definitely worth it if you want something that's going to last generations and still look great. Plus we love supporting small, local businesses! I asked for some prints to be framed they were cheap so I wasn't looking to spend much on them and the girl recommended a different type of service where they put it on a poster board and well I paid came to pick it up and both were ruined there was no apology and they did refund the money for the prints and then said this happens. I was not impressed q the customer service overall. I will not use them for anything in that department going forward
