I love this store. Every time I have needed something, this staff have gone out of their way to help me find it. Great selection of household decor items. I really enjoy shopping there. The prices are good too. If you wait long enough, everything eventually goes into the sale rotation. I appreciate the staff too. While I enjoy shopping at various hobby lobby store's, I recently shopped at the Hattiesburg location and my experience was rewarding as usual, until I had to utilize the men's restroom. That is when my experience turned from a strong positive straight into a poorly negative encounter. The management team seriously needs to monitor and possibly renovate the restrooms at this store location. All I can say is the bathroom was highly disgusting and I've been inside gas station restrooms that had a much higher standard of cleanliness and appearances then what I experiened. It's a shame that the appearance from the outside of the store looks quite appealing to the human eye, but it only takes one mishap to change ones perspective of leadership, attention to detail, guidance, and lack of genuine customer satisfaction. read more

Love hobby lobby. Buggies need to be much bigger. And the restrooms in hattiesburg are extremely overdue for a deep cleaning.

As a previous art student, this place was a staple in art supplies and random knick knacks. It's large and cheaper than Michaels, even though it's a bit further from campus. There's often deals going on too. BUT! They're closed on Sundays, so never ever put off your projects for the end of the weekend. You will always run out of some crucial item on the day that you can't purchase it. read more

While attempting to checkout a manager started digging through my basket which contained a large amount of fabric, some of which was rolled back onto the bolt by the very kind sales associate that helped me. The manager began acting irritated and took my fabric ticket while she helped other customers and employees, withholding me from finishing my transaction for over 20 minutes. I didn't know what was going on because I was just trying to purchase my items but the cashier dismissed me when I asked if we could get the ticket back. After the manager finished helping the other customers and employees she accused me of trying to steal the bolts of fabric to which I explained that they were written on the ticket. She did not check for the items even after I told her they were listed and became increasingly hostile with me while she called for the sales associate that cut my fabric. She also insinuated that I forged the initials on the ticket. When the associate came up to verify the items she patiently walked through each item with me while the manager continued to treat me as a shoplifter. When it was verified that the bolts were on the ticket the manager walked away without an apology or anything. Be careful shopping here, this whole ordeal was embarrassing in front of several other customers and I've never been treated this way in my life, especially by a business that I've supported for years with a huge dollar amount associated with my purchase history. read more
