I have no idea how this standby and important (supplies) store gets such a low rating? I just shopped there for the 100th time and everything on my hobby list was there. Reasonably priced and cheaper than ordering on Amazon by the way as that is no longer a bargain deal. The only constant and I will live with it is the sometimes long waits to get out. That is the price one pays for getting excellent prices which they have and a great selection. If this store rolls up and leaves that would be a real loss especially after losing first A.C.Moore than Joann's and being with just one large supplier for the hobby world. I do suspect that some competitors are making these low rating remarks. I never trust negative especially about stores and worse restaurants. I think they are staged. read more

This is a nice store to visit even if you aren't looking for supplies to make crafts. There are pretty fabrics, a lot of paints, easels, a lot of different gifts and things for your diy projects. There's a lot of free parking in a private lot. You can find some gifts. Good service. read more

Tues March 31, 2026. Around 5:20ish..... All 3 clerks at the checkout were rude and continued having their conversation while I was standing there. One was on a register, other 2 just talking to each other and literally mumbled under her breath that I interrupted them??!! Hobby lobby is a super fun store to spend time in strolling through the aisles.There are always new products and crafts. My latest endeavor in creativity is painting rocks. OK. Stop laughing. You would not believe the variety of cute ideas. The rocks make great little gifts. You can cheer up peoples' days when they least expect it. Hobby lobby has a great selection of acrylic paint and everything else you may need to tap your creativity. There is a nice selection of nautical items to decorate your home too. read more

WHY IS IT ALWAYS A PROBLEM AT THIS STORE? Never have enough cashiers, they have to look everything up in the weekly flyer bc they are not automated, and then they ARGUE about prices...Sher-yl actually told me it was the customers responsibility to read what is on sale one time! They practice bait & switch all the time! They put things in the sale section that aren't on sale and then argue...today, I picked out 5 markers, all from the same display that said they were $2.99,all the same brand & style. When I got to the register, 3 out of 5 of them were individually marked $5.99-then a manager gets called over(she was clueless), then they have to call the person from the art dept. and they were saying some bs about some of them being older than others...they KNEW this was a problems & that customers complained about previously and have done NOTHING to change it! They did give them to me for $2.99 each after holding up the ONLY register they had open! The managers are always standing at the end of the register bank and gossiping instead of jumping on a register to help customers, I have left my basket and walked away from my purchases multiple times...I hadn't been there in a long time but I thought I would try again but the proved me right! They are AWFUL! I will purchase from Amazon from now on! WORST STORE EVER! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE !!! IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME, MONEY & SANITY, STAY AWAY! read more

I was in this store on May 20. Two female employees were blocking an aisle and discussing placement, etc. so customers could not pass. I moved to another section, and while looking at the display at the end of the aisle, one of these employees came by with a large cart, shoved my shopping cart into the aisle, and said they were moving items. I then got my cart and backed out into the main aisle, unaware that the other younger woman was behind her. I accidently stepped on her foot. She made a big production, acting as if she were injured. The other woman made disgusted sounds at me. These were the rudest employees I have ever encountered in a store. I might mention that I was even in the store to purchase additional yarn because what I had previously purchased was filled in the center with small cut pieces of unusable yarn! Great product! Great employees! NOT!!! I will never go to another Hobby Lobby and will share my experience with others. read more

Disorganized, messy, and not welcoming. Freddy and Mark (manager and assists manager respectively) allowed people in the back of the line to cut everyone else - when something was said, Mark threw his arms up and said "oh well". Freddy said he was trying to de-escalate the situation, but by doing nothing he almost caused a riot as everyone was booing and yelling "Karen" at the aggressive woman who was pointing in other customers faces yelling that it was a Christian store. Do your best to stay away - bigoted store with no adequate management skills that are needed (especially during the holiday season). read more

Hobby Lobby puts up "Sale" signs all over the store to fool the customer into that everything is on sale. But beware of the fine print. When you go up to pay the cashier they will then tell you most of the items you chose are NOT on sale!! H L fooled me once with this tactic but they won't fool me again. Love the store, employees are nice and helpful, pricing and quality is reasonable, and I respect their values to close Sundays and many holidays. BUT, someone needs to get the Milford/Orange CT store in order. It is seriously mismanaged, since it is often very hard to get thru the lines. There are always so few people at the checkout, they are so slow, and seem to have a hard time with their basic tasks. Tonight for about the fourth time, I finally put my basket aside and just left. Its way too annoying to stand in line when there is no movement. Someone with some sense of organization needs to get this place in order. Whoever is "managing" this store needs to be replaced. Whenever I need art supplies, I come here first. They have endless amounts of markers, colored pencils, pens, and anything an artist needs. They have a big selection of Copic brand markers which most artists prefer as they're refillable and more high end than most markers. While their prices are a little high, you get what you pay for. So remember that when you buy your cheap art supplies at a different store. I only wish this store was open on Sundays. But it's their choice to have their employees off on a religious day and we really shouldn't complain or judge them for that. read more

This is the best craft / home decor store I have ever been to. I recently discovered it from my friend. The store is very big and has a hugeee selection of everything you need for your craft projects and home decor. They also have fabric and furniture. There's no reason to go to AC Moore and Michaels anymore, this is a one stop shop. Prices are also pretty good. They always have sales going on and you can also look online for coupons so there's never a reason to pay full price. LOVE LOVE LOVE! read more

I absolutely love this store and all that they sell, however, this review goes out to one cashier in particular. Sher-al (whose name I can guarantee you is Cheryl but wanted to spell it out for pronunciation purposes) was the worst cashier I have ever had. I handed her some silk flowers and told her how many I had. She went through each one and read each price tag, just in case I was trying to pull a fast one and get a more expensive item for a cheaper price. She also scanned each one and made sure that they had the exact same SKU number. Then, she got a little bit of an attitude when I asked her to wrap my ceramic garden statutes. Like I'm sorry, Sher-al, you may like a crushed mosaic look for your garden, but I like my garden statues intact. THEN, she wrapped up my windchime and I can guarantee you when I take it out of the bag it will be a knotted mess. I spend a lot of money in Hobby Lobby, probably upwards in the thousands each year, and I am highly disappointed!!! read more

Closed on Sunday. The day most people with normal jobs have the time to actually go there. In the time we pulled into the parking lot, 3 other cars with at least 9 people total were also upset it was closed. read more

It was a pretty good place for Xmas shopping. They have a great variety of basically- EVERYTHING!!!!! They have cool knick knacks and is a fun place to go to if you're bored and got a pocket full of cash! We didn't find what we were looking for (Ninja Turtle fabric) is probably the only bad thing about the place. The prices weren't great either. I wouldn't go there if you're looking for a cheap deal on a present. Pretty good place overall. read more
