The lady, whom I believe may own this store, is rude and I'll never go back. We rented two movies. She told us one was due in two days and one was due the next day. We were sure to watch the one day movie first...drove 25 minutes of windy road to return it. Would loved to have waited a day and brought both back at sme time..but a deal is a deal. The next day, same thing. Today my husband hurt himself and is probably down for the count the rest of our time here. I went back in to rent two more movies for him and she told me I had a late fee of $4.00. Huh? I did what she told me. She was so rude I couldn't believe it. I told her she had the movies mixed up (we were sure to watch the one she told us to return) she said "that's the nature of the business". She was so rude and condescending I left the store..but I'm still fuming mad. She lost out on mulitiple rentals from us this week because she was too stubborn to realize that SHE could have made a mistake. Had to vent - sorry! Their selection in the store is fine but poor customer service and be careful she's not very nice.

I've called and visited so many libraries in PR I have lost count. During this past week I decided to go to Rio Piedras, "barrio" in San Juan, Puerto Rico's capital, where a lot of libraries surround one of the University of Puerto Rico. After going to 4 different libraries, I ran into this one. Little did I know I had found a gem in the middle of Río Piedras... One of the employees there took me to the second floor, where old, vintage and classic books are hidden from the public eye. Several first editions. This librarian took me on "a trip" down Puerto Rico's most interesting stories... after an hour or so I left the store with around 7 books based on the topic I have been looking for and every book ranged from $5-15. I took 7 books for little over $70.00 and when I reached for a CD of Puertorrican traditional songs, the librarian gave me the cd for free. This place is the best! They have from the newest to the oldest books! Do NOT hesitate to visit it if you love books.

Parking is a little tricky in this area, but there's a reasonably priced parking lot adjacent to the store. I had brought over some records from New York City, however the shop owner (Tito) wasn't available to appraise them. I ended up just donating the records, I'm just happy that a few of my records will be circulating around Puerto Rico. Came during the week on a Tues and it was not too crowded, which was a welcome treat as I do not like shopping malls at all (nor shopping in general). I really enjoyed this mall, though, as it has a bit of everything including some non USA stores. Mall doesn't look like much from the outside and you cannot tell (at least from our entrance) that it looks like a mall until you get outside. Very clean, upscale, and has something for everyone.
