Amazing pizza!! Unassuming spot on the island attached to a gas station. Ambiance was very intimate. We had to wait about 20 minutes because it is a small resteruant but we'll worth the wait. This is a prime example of not judging a book by its cover. Located in a gas station, Pimentón offers fantastic pizza. I didn't know what to expect, but the last thing I expected to find in Puerto Rico was the best garlic bread I've ever had, and at Pimentón, I found it. They have a great selection of beers and wine. Don't forget to make a reservation before heading out here. This restaurant is very popular, for a reason. The food is great. I really like the bruschetta and the tuna tartare appetizers. The La Fico pizza is excellent. It has prosciutto, arugula, and figs. Those figs really make it stand out. It is also a white pizza. The Infusione and La Pimentón are also very good. The mushroom mac & cheese with truffle oil is a great choice if you don't want pizza. I loved it. I love the addition of the outdoor patio. It provides more space and is kid friendly. More importantly, it's stroller friendly. When it was indoors, it wasn't. The private rooms are also a nice touch. They have a TV with Netflix, which was perfect because our group had three children. I believe Pimentón is easily one of the top 3 pizzerias in PR. I've been here twice and everything is top notch, from the food to the service to the vibe. This second time the only thing that change was the vibe. It was better. The first time I came here was before the pandemic and it was all indoors, in a small room inside the Shell gas station. It was small but fun. That was part of its charm. But it was always too crowded because there was not enough room. This time around the indoor area is used as a wine cellar, it seemed to me. On the side of the gas station they set up an outdoor patio surrounded by small trailers. The trailers are private rooms for larger parties. I went with my wife, son, parents, and one of my brothers and his family. We were mince total so we got a private room. It was awesome. The room had air conditioning, a TV. It was tight because the trailers are small and narrow but very nicely decorated. My wife even saw a microphone, possibly for karaoke. I think this addition makes the place even better. If you want beer you can buy it at the gas station. They have a really good selection of craft beers. Our server was great, friendly and attentive. On point all afternoon. We started out with bruschetta, mini calzone, and tuna tartare. For the main course we ordered two large pizzas, one was La Pimentón and the other was Infusione. We also got two small pizzas, La Fico and a cheese pizza for the kids. Small pizzas are circular 6 slices. Large are squared 8 slices. Aside from pizza they have pasta, mac & cheese, steak and salmon. My wife ordered the mac & cheese with mushrooms and truffle oil. The portion size is for sharing. Everyone got a spoonful or two and she still had more than enough for her. Easily for two people. Everything was delicious. I would recommend everything we ate. For dessert we had key lime pie and either a chocolate cheesecake or salted caramel bread pudding. I was wasn't around when they ordered it and didn't try it (too full). Overall, an excellent experience. I highly recommend checking this place out. Next time I'm trying the meatball appetizers (polpette and polpette sliders). I saw another party eating them and they looked good. Reservations are highly recommended, especially for larger groups. You can park at the gas station or across the street. read more

Probably biased because I had my first date here with my girlfriend but I really enjoyed Pimenton. The pizza has a great sauce/cheese/topping ratio and it's delicious. I was a bit bummed to see they got rid of the larger pizza sizes (can't remember the dimensions) but still a place I plan on coming back to. I ordered takeout, the food tasted amazing I ordered a Bianca pizza. It has pesto sauce bacon and ham I choose to leave out the onions. I also pick a soup of the day, it was tomatoes soap and Mac and cheese with skirt steak which was very good. The place to sit inside the restaurant is very small, but pretty. Everything about this place is 5 star! Took a while to find it. It's located inside a Shell gas station. Once inside you forget you are in a gas station. The ambiance is of a bar type pizza-Italian joint that is rare to Puerto Rico. We ordered the stuffed tomatoes for appetizer and the Infusione and Riserva pizza. Pizza is really really good here! One of the best I've ever had. The crust was super flavorful and ingredients fresh and delicious. They also have a variety of beers bottled and on tap. A lot are local brews. They also have a beer tasting sampler available, which I regret not trying. It was my son's b-day and to top off the night they brought out this chocolate cake and ice cream concoction that tasted delicious and looked amazing. Highly recommend this place. This place is one of me and my husband's favorites in San Juan (well, actually is located in Carolina). The pizzas are delicious, there is a wide selection of artisanal and local beers, and the services is great. Lost recent time went there with my parents, and we all had a great time. Only downside is the parking situation, because the restaurant is located in a gas station, and it tends to be difficult to find parking space, but that is greatly compensated by the delicious food. Before being there I read some reviews here and I almost change my opinion to try this place. Well, I'm happy to finally hit the place with some friends. This restaurant is pretty limited in space, and yes people need to wait most of the time. After seen some couples waiting we wait and spend some time in the coffee shop at the gas station. A group of 5 and we wait for 40 minutes. The food it's really really affordable and awesome. From the variety of draft beers, to the appetizers and the pizza. Cheese bread and pomodoro sauce lovely! We order 4 different pizzas. Very thin and crunchy crust, savory and no over flavor sauce and fresh ingredients. Waiter service outstanding!!!! Where to even start!? Pimentón has been one of my favorite pizza places ever since I tried it years ago. I had the same reaction to most people when I first went there (as in where the heck am I?) as it is next to a Shell Gas Station. Don't let that fool you! As soon as you walk in you will think you are in a fancy restaurant in Old San Juan. The place is so nice and cozy and the smell just hits you! I usually order the Churrasqueria- it has skirt steak with chimichurri, veggies and all the cheese goodness you can think of. I also order the bistecca which is more meat lovers like but just as tasty! Don't let the size fool you- it is very filling! We also orden the guava cheesecake for desert (and usually to split as we are very full at this time!) They also have several beers and have a coffee shop right next door. So no matter your like you will find something to order (and rave about). I don't live nearby anymore but Pimentón is ALWAYS on my to eat list whenever Im an back home in Puerto Rico! read more

Wow! This place is great! A hidden gem forreal. Circled around for a while looking for this place. It is right inside the shell gas station! Who knew! Looked for a pizza place for my sons bday and Found this from TripAdvisor as one of the best pizza in Puerto Rico and I can validate that it is indeed one of the best pizzas I've ever had. We ordered Riserva and the Infusion and it was mouthwatering. So unfair because I kept wanting to eat more but carbs.... Also started out with the stuffed mozzarella tomato appetizer and it was so good. Highly recommend. Luckily we came on a Tuesday about 6:30pm and was not crowded yet. Staff are very friendly. This is a nice hidden location. Took a few minutes to find where it is until we realized it was at the gas station lol the pizza was great. The dough on the crust was very soft and tasty so any pizza is great. No pineapples tho. My favorite was probably the Infusione. Beer is good too! read more

Not what it used to be and not better than your nearby pizza place. Too salty and undercooked dough with basic ingredients. Must say the hostess was deceiving with timing and uninterested.
