They put my boat back in the water after 100 hour service on the engines with no bilge pump float switch working which could have sunk the boat, and they knew about it!!! I had to ask the mechanic to go out and make sure the boat was not taking on too much water before I could get there!!! Steve the owner said they were not interested in fixing my wiring to both my bilge pumps, the float switches and live well pump, which all died and were replaced during a month in the Bahamas. The wires just needed to be cut, coupled properly and heat shrunk, but he's too busy heat shrinking his fishing lures. When you go to his shop, you'll see he only has 2 bays. One for working on boats, the other for his fishing tackle! They do not care go somewhere else!!!!

Disappointed with the consistency, but grateful to be moving on…read more CONS: * Inconsistent and incomplete cleanings * Hard barnacles found despite biweekly schedule * Bow thruster consistently neglected * Poor follow-through on service changes * Continued billing after pausing service verbally * Had to clean the boat myself to avoid build-up * Some reviews appear suspicious (from accounts with no other reviews) * Google reviews listed on their website don't appear to exist publicly PROS: * Easy to reach by phone * Did show up at least some of the time DETAILS: I used Maximum Diving Services for quite a while while waiting to get a boat lift installed. Even though I was on a regular biweekly cleaning schedule, I'd often find hard barnacles on the bottom of the boat (growth that takes more than two weeks to develop) which made me question how consistently or thoroughly cleanings were being done. The bow thruster was always fully covered, and several areas of the hull looked like they hadn't been touched at all. There were also a few times I asked (by phone) to pause service while the boat was out of the water, and they agreed, but I kept getting billed. It may have just been a communication breakdown, but it happened more than once. If you do use their service, I'd strongly recommend putting any service changes in writing just to be safe. There were times I ended up taking the boat out myself to scrub it, just to try to keep the bottom from getting worse. That really shouldn't have been necessary with a professional service in place. Lastly, I noticed that their website features multiple glowing 5-star "Google" reviews... but oddly, there's no public Google listing available where customers can actually leave reviews. It's something worth being aware of when doing your research. Not to mention the 5-star reviews here on Yelp from 7 years ago... they didn't make many, if any, other reviews. Odd. I'm sharing this so other boat owners can make a more informed decision before hiring this company.
