    White sausage soup with pretzel.
    Becky W.

The portions were large and delicious; every dish tasted as though it were prepared from scratch and we're extremely happy with our meals. We ordered from the Octoberfest specials menu: white sausage soup, ham slices, ham roast, sauerkraut, mashed potatoes, pretzel (the sweet mustard is amazing), and bratwurst were excellent. The dessert (also an Octoberfest menu item) consisted of a light sweet custard with raspberry purée and fresh fruits-this was scrumptious! This restaurant is very family friendly providing a playground for kids as well as dogs. Our fur baby enjoyed his accommodations! The restaurant was full of locals. The Biergarten had a great beer selection and the seating area was laid out well and packed. The dining area was cozy, staff was extremely attentive and helpful. The Biergarten hosted a few live bands that played popular American songs. The bands were great and the live entertainment added to the already lively atmosphere. This is a restaurant that you want to stop in, eat, drink, and relax awhile. We will be returning and recommending to our friends.

    Chicken salad and schnitzel

Very good local food and value for your money. We had a salad, shared a schnitzel, couple beers, and wine. All for well under 50 euro. The place was packed, food made fresh. If you want to sit outside be sure to make a reservation. Otherwise you'll be in a corner inside not enjoying the sun. Plenty of parking or bike racks if you decide to ride in.

    Great biergarten.

I completely agree with the other superb yelp ratings. This place was so cozy and quaint. We…read morearrived right at 5pm on a Saturday. Just as they were opening up. There was already a short line of people waiting. We didn't have reservations and luckily they had ONE table available that had not been reserved yet. This place is so popular by the locals that all the tables except for one had been reserved. The restaurant is known for their hand cheese so we tried the Spanish handy-- it was very delicious. It was served with chopped onions, black olives, a few tiny cubes of red bell pepper in an olive oil base with dry cilantro and a couple of slices of bread on the side. We got the small order and still had some left over to go. For my entree I had the rump steak with green pepper sauce. The steak was very lean and very tender. The green pepper sauce was absolutely delicious with just the right amount of spicy kick to it. I'm usually very picky about my steak and don't like any fatty parts. This didn't have any. I got a side salad along with it that balanced it perfectly. I'm definitely going to recommend it to my fellow visiting coworkers.

This place is adorable!! Traditional food of the Wiesbaden region, a definite must experience!…read more They are known for making their own apple wine, tastes a little bit like a white wine sangria but slightly lighter in flavor. Try the Stammer Max for a variety of meats & the Hand Cheese - it looks like applesauce but its cheese and you put an onion sauce over it. Very tasty! Also tried a fried cheese with a jelly. Don't recall the name of it but it was lovely. Anything with the green sauce is worth trying. They serve it with wiener schnitzel or hard boiled eggs. There is an English menu, just ask the start for it. They are very attentive. We are inside which was charming but the outside biergarten area looked so inviting!
