2014 Dodge Grand Caravan owner that had the typical rocker arms/lifters issue several years back…read morewhen the car was under warranty. Manifested as a rough idle and threw a P0303 Cyl 3 misfire finally. Dodge replaced it all under warranty but only that half of the engine. They wouldn't replace everything on the other half of the V when I asked even knowing eventually those would suffer the same fate. That was at 80,000 miles. So 5 years and 70,000 miles later we just recently had the same issue with a rough idle until finally the P0302 Cyl 2 misfire code appeared and I knew the fate. I had called numerous shops and ranged from quotes of up to $10k, or more than that saying it needed a new engine, to others not even willing to quote me when I explained the situation and asked "IF this is the same repair what is the cost?" I just started going out further from the Justin area and called a few shops in Decatur and got ahold of Superior. They knew exactly the problem and had an excellent technician (Raul) who knew this fix, and has done it before. They are probably one of the few shops in the metroplex outside of the dealer to trust with this since apparently it is very difficult to keep the timing in place and it's much longer job for other shops. The costs for this were also extremely reasonable. We added in a few other maintenance items as well and got good recommendations from Joe. This van has been great to us and if not for Superior Auto it could have been much more costly. And I just did not want to have to drop a $40k financing contract on a new minivan for our family in this economic climate. The owner Robert also even does some QC checks to be 100% certain even though Raul does a fantastic job. We had a little bit of a customer service mishap/miscommuncation but good customer service is NOT defined by how you are treated when everything is going well and GOOD, it's how a business treats when even a small thing goes slightly off the rails and Dean in their front office displayed A+ customer service. Five-stars all around and no real need to visit the dealership when you'll get a personal touch with Superior Auto. Thanks guys!

I went to move the cart and the lady told me I couldn't use the restroom unless I donated. Needless to say, I didn't have cash on me and they lost my business for being rude.

Instead of answering me, she looked at the owners. The owners looked at me and then said that I cannot use it. There I am, a paying customer wanting to EAT in this establishment and was not given the opportunity to use the restroom (including washing my hands during Covid-19). Not only does the refusal of the restroom bother me but also the owner's manner of denying me use. They did not immediately tell the woman I could not use the restroom. instead they (man and woman possibly a couple) moved over to where they could see me. The man read my hat that says, Disabled Veteran and proud of it. He also look ed me up and down then told the woman I could not use the restroom. Would not even tell me himself and I was right there. I feel that other than it being unsanitary and rude to run a restaurant and not allow paying customers to use the restroom, I also feel that I was denied not because they deny everyone but because they had to look me over to decide if I could use it. I am a Caucasian 63 year old man and the owners are as Asian. I don't know if I was denied because I am white or if I am a Veteran but since the lady running the register had to ask, I assume that some people are allowed restroom use if they pass the visual inspection buy the owners. I feel that I was treated rudely and that my civil rights were violated. If they had to see me before answering, they based their answer on how I looked. In my opinion, these people base their customer service on the race of the customers. They will take your money while denying you the most basic of service. This is my opinion only and may not be correct but I think the average customer would feel the same way if treated the same way. I do not recommend this place to anyone. Zero stars would be my rating if it were available.

They came to get our vehicle right away and even came with a second vehicle to transport my whole family (2 adults, 4 kids and 2 dogs). Allen was so gracious, so kind, so accommodating. Once we got our vehicle to the shop, he drove us to a place to pick up food, then took it us to our hotel where we stayed while we waited for our van to get repaired. He really went above and beyond all expectations to help take care of my family in a less than ideal situation and I'm so grateful.

Stephen and his team did an excellent job…read more I had a check engine light come on, and they were the only shop in town who could even see me this week. I had already taken my car to the Auto Zone and knew the problem... everyone else said they had to do their own diagnostic ($165.00). Stephen had to do their own diagnostic as well, but they were confirming... not just taking a free shot...and he said the price goes toward the fix. They had the car ready within 24 hours, and called me. When I drove out of the shop, the check engine light was on. They took the car back, and Stephen knew immediately what the problem was. They had replaced the sensor (the inexpensive fix), and the light had turned off. Once on the highway, and the light came back on, Stephen immediately knew it was the other (more expensive) sensor, and only charged me the difference. The fact they tried to save me money, and immediately knew the problem... and could easily explain it to me... makes this a 5 Star review. There's another YELP review about how they didn't fix someone's car the first time... I don't feel that was my experience. New cars and computers are finicky. In a small town, you don't build a 5 Star reputation by taking advantage of people. I will be back! 5 Stars
