Our waiter was an older gentlemen who spoke very little English and made zero effort to help us with the menu. The menu was entirely in German and we had no service to translate anything so I just picked the Wienerschnitzel and my girlfriend ordered a vegetarian ravioli. Both dishes came out relatively fast and looked great. My schnitzel was very tasty and fresh while my girlfriends ravioli was extremely flavorful. We ordered the Oktoberfest beer since we couldn't really read or tell what the other beers were. The Oktoberfest beer was very light, almost like a coors light lol the weissbier is where it's at. Highly recommend getting the weissbier at any and all restaurants as it is the stronger and more flavorful selection. Later in the evening a younger girl asked us if we needed anything and spoke English, she also helped us with ordering other drinks and even called us a cab since we had no service to use Uber. I wish she was our original server and was a little annoyed he did not even ask her to help us in the first place. He also did not give me my change trying to take advantage of the fact that Americans tip, and in Germany the tip is included. I didn't want to make a big deal over 5 more euros but pretty rude. This would be the main reason for only 3 stars. Other than that it was a cool experience and beautiful beer garden for outside seating.

The restaurant was just a ten minute walk from the hotel and on the way we passed a multitude of restaurants. We walked into a very friendly and busy environment. You could tell all the people sitting around us were having a good time and eating what looked like some really good food. We went to a side room that was just a bit quieter and without missing a beat... ordered a beer. Hard to make a choice with their comprehensive menu, but keeping with our tradition of eating lighter in the evening while traveling we went with: - Tomato and Mozzarella salad - A large piece of toasted bread - Veal Schnitzel with potatoes - Apple Strudel Without going through each item in detail I will say that everything was fantastic! Tomatoes and cheese were so fresh and tasty and the schnitzel was wonderful... Not enough good things to say about the amazing strudel..... Nothing like having apple strudel in Germany. The photos really speak for themselves. Service was the biggest issue. We repeatedly tried to get someone's attention to place our order, but the servers seemed to avoid eye contact and kept waiting for someone else to help us. Even getting the check was a struggle--we eventually had to get up and go to a counter ourselves. It felt like the staff had little interest in actually serving the customers. The atmosphere itself has the traditional Bavarian beer hall feel, but unfortunately, the poor food, disappointing beer pour, and especially the terrible service completely overshadowed it.
