Along with cakes/tortes they also serve breakfast, make their own pralines, and have gelato. The ambience was very cozy indoors and it looks like I'm warm sunny days you can sit outside. Establishment is very clean. I believe this is family owned and operated. Definitely a place to go when you wanna relax. Would highly recommend this place!

We stopped here for dessert after completing the volksmarch (hiking event) in Runkel on 3 Oct…read more(Reunification Day). It was very, very crowded inside and in the courtyard. Staff were unable to keep up with the customers. It took about 20 minutes for our cake and coffee to be served after we had ordered at the counter and told to take our seats. I understand it was their busiest day of the year but they should have expected the crowds as their cafe was the official starting point for the volksmarch. Despite the extremely slow service, I have to say their desserts and coffee were very good. I'd eat there again but only when not busy!
