I spent time on the phone with the florist (I am from Dallas) and specifically said what I was looking for. I noted numerous times in our conversation that I hated carnations and daisies and did not want them in the arrangement. I also mentioned that I wanted blue and purple flowers. I was extremely specific of what I wanted and how it should look. On Mother's Day my mom sent me a picture of the arrangement thanking me but it was nothing like I asked. The arrangement was mostly white with yellow and maybe one purple flower. I was very disappointed and called the florist to ask about this confusion. They said that the blue and purple flowers were not in stock and very expensive. When I spoke with the company to order I gave no budget and said I would pay what I needed to get what I had envisioned. They quoted me a price and said it would be a very nice arrangement. Needless to say, I was not pleased. They did bring out a new arrangement that was better but still not what I wanted.

This place is great to grab a bite to eat for lunch or dinner when cruising through the country side- especially since lots of bars in the area don't serve lunch. Our hardest decision whenever we frequent this place is which deep-fat-fried veggie to devour. I personally love the fried cauliflower. Burgers are HUGE. Beers are cheap- like $1.50 per can. We love looking at our personalized dollar bills that adorn the ceiling and walls- keep your eyes peeled for the "Jerri Ringa" bill I have photographed. The three of us were greeted promptly and had about a 5 minute wait. The place is cute as the dickens - very charming. The wait staff was fantastic and friendly even though they were hustling. Now, the best part...the food!!! We tried the meatloaf sandwich, Cobb salad, and a plowman sandwich with a side salad. The food was fresh and the portions were large but not impossible. My Cobb salad had the perfect balance of mixed greens with all of the good stuff - chicken, blue cheese,... I usually end up with a pile of leftover lettuce after I pick out the best bits lol. We saw another table order a piece of chocolate cake so we got one to go. We enjoyed it later and it was divinely chocolately without being too sweet.
