I contemplated for a long time if I was going to add this BB campsite to yelp, because it is truly one of my favorite places to go in the summer. I felt a bit selfish about not sharing the info, but I finally decided to give up the info on this gem. It's a lovely Bed Breakfast and small campsite located on Texel Island. Ideal place for couples or small parties no bigger than 2-4 to go camping. If you are super outgoing,loud, or like to roll in big crowds, or intend on getting your party on then I would say this is not the campsite for you. We rented Catshuys this summer. The location was perfect, close too Den Hoorn, Den Burg and Ecomare. Yet, the facilities in Catshuys were absolutely terrible! The beds in both rooms were old, and gave no support to the back. The second bedroom was incredibly humid, you could not sleep in this room. You would certainly not let your children sleep their, very bad for their health. We told the owners about it, they just said: 'Well more people have said that yes, but we can't help it'. Well why do they rent it as a two bedroom place then against market prices! And lots of flies! Don't recommend the place at all! read more
