While visiting family for thanksgiving, I was looking for a nice cigar lounge. Hogsheads was a great find. They have a great humidor with local favorites at a good price. Bob is a great tobaccologist and has great recommendations. The air system works well and there are plenty of folks to talk with and televisions to watch games. My first of many visits to come! Amazing cigar shop / smoking lounge in Fredericksburg behind the mall in the strip shops. Quality fresh and premium cigar selection. Nice long seating room, comfort lounge chairs, and some tall tables. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff and owner. He really cares about his customers and tries to treat them right. There is a $10 dollar cutting fee if you bring your own cigar to smoke, or you can buy one there and smoke it with $0 cutting fee. A few nice brewed coffees and cold bottles of soda and tea. They have a masseuse certain days and a barber. The massage room is private and really nice. If you like smoking cigars in a relaxed atmosphere or want to get a cigar as a gift for someone... this place is a great place to try. I'll be going back! Comment for owner: I recommend bringing the cutting fee down to $5 or $7. I'd come back more often if you did and would spend more money there instead, and I think it would bring more returning business. Outstanding cigar lounge. I have been in a half dozen times, beginning in October, and have been personally greeted each time by the owner. The owner (Hector) assists in selecting cigars, or allows patrons to manage their own selections -- as chosen by the customer. A very nice variety of cigars, and all kept in excellent conditions. The humidor is high grade and keeps the stock in top condition. The prices beat or rival the prices found on web sites, but with cigars that are available now and in excellent condition. I came in as a "newbie" in October, but keep coming back because of the quality cigars and the friendly environment. I have both stayed and smoked, or taken my cigars out to go. Great local cigar lounge. They no longer have the option to get a haircut but its still a local favorite hangout. Reasonable prices and a good selection of sticks will give me reason to frequent this establishment in the near future. read more

Ambient lounge to have a palatable cigar. Tonight I had a Blondie Belicoso by Acid. It is a mild sweet cigar. Left a nice flavor on my lips. While enjoying my cigar I saw a couple of patrons get a haircut and a straight shave by Karen, the barber. The owners, Hector and Paulina Rodriguez are gracious and welcoming. Their staff is knowledgeable and they carry a wide variety of cigars. I heard they are also going to add a masseuse to their Cigar and Barber parlor this week. read more

Visited this store today and could not be happier with my experience. Hector (Owner) and Bob (Mgr) were there to shake my hand upon entry and help me find what I needed! Large humidor with many boutique selections that will certainly provide you with a great smoke! The shop also offers premium local coffee if you like or other selections such as soda & water! Bob the owner is very knowledgable about all the cigars he sells and will gladly help you find one regardless of what type you are looking for. When it comes to cigars I have very little knowledge. I know what I like but, don't know much about them. I thought that this cigar lounge was really classy! My work allows me to travel and go into many cigar shops throughout the u.s. This is in a class of it's own. When, you walk through the front door you will automatically feel welcomed. The owners know what they are doing. I had the chance to talk with them and get to know them a little. The owner and his wife were really nice.They have a beautiful humidor. A great selection of cigars and very knowledgeable staff. Their town is lucky to have them as a business. Don't visit them because the owner is a retired marine who served our country for 20 years. You need to go because this cigar lounge is really nice, prices are really reasonable, staff is very knowledgeable, and welcoming. Today they made a new customer. read more

This is a nice small store. Has a fair amount of tobacco and Cigars. Price point is much higher on cigars than it should but the have a pretty locked up market. Small lounge and large employees. Just my first time visiting but if I am desperate I will come back. read more

I've been to many cigar lounges in many cities and this is one of the best!! True lounge atmosphere where you can go to sit with fellow BOTLs and SOTLs to just enjoy the company, discussions and laughs. Plenty of TVs for the games, parking is great, the owners, Hector and Paulina, make you feel at home every time you visit. Humidor is very well stocked - great selection to chose from. If you want a place where everybody knows your name and you want a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy your cigars, HCL is the place to go. You won't be disappointed. read more
