I'm not sure what the issues were today in theater #5, but with only a literal handful of people…read morewatching the movie, the theater felt humid. It actually was much cooler outside in the lobby and in the mall than it was inside the theater; at least in #5. Also, during the movie, Mortal Kombat 2 (don't judge lol), there was an issue with one of the speakers. There was a loud "banging" noise that I thought was part of the fight sequence soundtrack, but then the level didn't change, and it interfered with hearing the actors dialog... pretty annoying. It lasted for about 5 minutes, then it finally stopped. With the staffing cutbacks (self ticketing, no greeter or ushers, limited concession staff), I know it must be difficult to manage the bldg, but the uncomfortable conditions and sound issue, it certainly doesn't make it enticing to return. The overall movie was okay, notwithstanding the issue, but it's been better.

What a nice event. Free movie $3 hot dogs and 59% off on…read morepopcorn. Very comfortable seats and great viewing. AARP volunteers work so hard to put in these events.
