We bought a baby rabbit a few months ago - supposed to be a dwarf lop but hes definately not dwarf and his ears tell me hes not a lop either but we love him and hes gorgeous. The animals look healthy considering they are under bright lights all day and have lots of different people staring at them and banging on the glass. We haven't had much luck with fish bought from there and prefer to go elsewhere. They have a good selection of wild bird feeders, nuts etc as well as fancy accessories for your pets if you are looking for a Christmas present for your pets.

There is a car park, and it's usually free if you're shopping at any of the shops in the Coxeter centre or Seeny's. On Saturdays there's usually someone charging, but tell them where you're going.

Jollyes is easy to navigate and stocks a lot of products. The staff are helpful and the store provide a vet service every Wednesday, so if you visit then you'll see a queue of dogs and cats waiting to get their shots. You can purchase fish and live insects in store, as well as food and products for most pets, even horses, chickens and reptiles. My main downside to Jollyes is one particular product they sell; the cotton style nesting material. Not a lot of pet owners or even staff in pet stores are aware of the dangers and I've personally learned the hard way. Let me be clear, customers are not asking for their deposit back only that it be used in part-payment of a future booking. Emma Hall, the proprietor, implied that allowing the deposit to be part-payment of a future booking would ruin her business. In fact, that's not true. She would keep the deposit, get more money from the future booking, and have happy, repeat customers. But no, she's going to pocket all the deposits. In a general email she asked everyone to come and book with her again whenever they could. What a rubbish company! I hope all her customers are very well aware of what she is actually doing.

I have two rescue greyhounds and was a little unsure about putting them into kennels where they…read morewould be in close contact with domestic dogs. I need not have worried, I was shown all around the kennels at great length by very friendly and informative staff. The structure and lay-out of the business is well built, well laid out, clean, safe and efficiently run. I have left both dogs on a couple of occasions, taken their food (they eat what they have been fed all ther lives as racing dogs) and the staff have been only too willing to continue with the diet discussed with them beforehand. Everyone I meet is always welcoming and clearly love all the animals left in their care and have a good understanding and experience of all breeds. My amazing "pets" return to me bright-eyed, clearly happy and secure. I feel lucky to have all the Staff at " Linden " to care for my dogs when I go away.

The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable which is refreshing and I hope other people support this type of shop. Desborough Pets is a short walk from the main shopping centre Eden in High Wycombe town centre and does have parking closer but I think it is all pay and display. They stock pet products for many different types of animals and I am sure they can cater for just about anyone's pet needs. Definitely worth a visit if you can.

They offered a lot of advice on the kinds of pets to consider when you have children and provided many offers on the accessories that I was buying when I bought my fish tank etc. My son liked visiting the store and looking at the pets there. Nearly killed our rabbit Stan who presented with repeated gut stasis and broke bond with his…read morepartner and sent him home without a diagnosis. Our new vet instantly found the cause: liver lobe torsion. One month later now and Temple End refused to answer questions about care including kennel size (we suspect it was the size of a pet carrier), why the normal treatment for gut stasis was not administered, why they did not perform the ultrasound they suggested due to suspected torsion, why he was left alone overnight when care was promised, etc. Earlier this year our other bunny, Dori, died while under anaesthetic. At the time we were devastated but understood this sometimes happens with rabbits, and was a risk we had to take. We now are left wondering if Temple End did something they shouldn't have. We are escalating our complaint about Stan and hope they get shut down. THEY DO NOT HAVE AN EXOTICS WARD. What they claim to have is insufficient to qualify. NB: The vet who treated Stan seemed deeply concerned about him and did her best. But it is clear she does not have the training to handle rabbits, and so Temple End should not be advertising that they can do so. We do not blame the individual vet. We blame the practice for claiming to have an exotics ward when they clearly don't, and garnering unwarranted trust in their ability to handle rabbits.
