After telling them at 3 pm of this issue no one came to look at the issue even though they claimed maintenance was alerted. It was 5pm when I alerted the front desk that no one came to see about this issue. They then moved use. Day 2 at 7am phone rang and knocking at the door. Fire alarm to the room went off and they couldn't repair issue asked use to move again. This time manager Costa promised the more would be to our liking with a river view. Had to pack and move out not to have a room to go to for 3hours. Room given was a 2 floor room not looking at a river but at a building across the street. Day 3-7 After asking for the complaints registar, the front desk instantly called over the actual manager and regional manager. Once I explained my disappointment to them we were finally provided appropriate reparations for our troubles. Executive suite with a stocked bar, champagne, and dessert served to the room. If in a room facing the river, it can be a little noisy but not enough to disturb my sleep! Food has always been very good too with staff always willing to help. The hotel also run a shuttle to local businesses which is invaluable and can be booked in advance with the concierge.

Since we'd had a long flight and had nowhere to go they held our bags for us while we went to get food. We returned about an hour later, with still with no text about our room. Having no other space to eat we brought our food into the lounge to wait for our room and started eating, only to be interrupted and snidely told no outside food. We replied that we had nowhere else to eat since our room (more than an hour and a half later) still wasn't ready so the lounge attendant went and retrieved our keys, stating they'd been trying to reach us (not true but fine) and we went up to the room. Now this room, if wasn't the worst room in the whole hotel I would be shocked. It was down a really small corridor and as soon as we opened the door it reeked of cigarettes. It was about half the size of our room the year before and the air quality was terrible So we go back down to the front desk and I ask if we could get another cleaner room, thinking because they made us wait they were likely fully booked, but surprisingly they switched us immediately to a different room which, funny enough was already ready and had the fantastic A/C unit air quality and size we expected from last year. Funny how that happened. Fast forward to this year. I was honestly on the fence about staying again and almost posted the review above last year, but I preemptively reached out to our Ambassador to mention the issues we had and to confirm again, that our room needs to be far away from the elevators and to get 24 hour, so our room would absolutely be ready when we got there. Well they got it half right. The room (one of the worst in the house again) was ready at check in but was right next to a service elevator. We'd had a very difficult flight and problematic Uber ride, so the room being an issue again for the third year in row was really a not great cherry on top. We went downstairs to ask to switch but they tell us nothing else is available. So we go back up to the room to wait (after noticing our new keys won't work in the lounge yet again this year), except the elevators are giving me the most awful headache. So I finally call our Ambassador and get them involved and they tell me they'll call them. We head downstairs and the Ambassador team calls me back to tell me the room will be ready in 10 minutes. Fantastic. So I walk up to confirm this with the front desk and they have no idea what I'm talking about. We go back and forth and I let them know we're flying to France in the morning and leaving at 3am (it's 6:30pm by this point) so if they have no room we can go elsewhere. Somehow, shockingly they find something. Again, funny how that happened. So we get the keys re-made and go upstairs to see the room. It's still not a great room, but it's not near any elevators so we call it good. But once again, our lounge access doesn't work, so we have to go down again to get them re-made. However once we finally get access - the lounge attendant hassles us (yet again) - this time for grabbing a bottled sparkling water because apparently they changed the rules since last year and nothing can be removed from the lounge. That first year we stayed you could grab waters from the lounge to bring to your room, but sure fine, inflation. Mention it at check in and post a sign in the lounge. The next evening we get back after having had maybe 14 hours of sleep in 3 days and guess what doesn't work again - our key. They hadn't warned us the merged stay would break the key. So back down we go to get it re-keyed, only to next day excitingly discover yet again the lounge access on the new keys doesn't work. So again, we have to get new keys. While the first year was quite nice, the last two years have been the worst check in processes we've ever had while traveling. The lounge attendants are rude and the customer service experience is terrible. At the end of the day we gave them a second chance and it ended up being worse than the time before so we won't be staying with them again.

I was put on the fifth floor, and it was very spacious. I was a bit nervous because numerous friends had told me that the hotel rooms are small, but it was more than enough space for two people and their large suitcases. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were not overly soft, so they gave my neck good support. The room was very clean, and since I was there during the heat wave, the aircon was much appreciated. There was an incident during our stay where the Aircon did stop working due to a motherboard issue, but the front desk was so helpful and allowed us to switch rooms (even kept us on the same floor) so that we could have working aircon. This is an A+ in my books, especially with the weather at the time. The staff were friendly, and we never had an issue with cleaning, the front desk or the suggestions they offered. The hotel even made a little watch-viewing party during the Arsenal championship game, which made the atmosphere even more fun. The hotel is in an accessible neighbourhood just off Russell Square or just a few minutes' walk to Kings Cross. There is even a Tesco Express or Boots across the street. I will be staying here again.

Our room overlooked the AC units and we were next to a room full of children (we think, due to coming & goings, it was a nanny staying with several children while the parents were in a different section of the hotel). The bathroom was in need of repairs (sink stopper did not function properly, many chips and missing pieces in the counter tops). We were out and about the city for most of the stay and liked the location but would have preferred to come back to a nicer and updated room. Unimpressed and will stay elsewhere next visit.

They tried to tell me all beds were standard, but clearly saw it wasn't true when my room was switched to a true king size room.

A cozy long sized bed and sofa to lounge when we needed to chill without lying down. There was ample closet space and some shelving to putting away clothes. The desk area was very nice and roomy with a nice style about it. The lamps had good lighting that was warm and inviting. The bathroom had good water pressure and sink space to place all toiletries. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. They allowed us to use the amenities at their spa when our room wasn't ready and we needed to clean up from the all-day travels we had spent since the day before coming over from the States. Staying at the hotel is an experience from the fact that this Victorian building used to be the original train station for St. Pancras. They have repurposed the high-ceiling gothic interior that originally served for the meeting and ticketing offices for the main lobby area and the Booking Office 1869 bar. The grandeur of the design is allowed to fully take place in the superb elements of fine dining and comforting relaxation. The Booking Office Bar & Restaurant was a mainstay for us during our time at the hotel. It's difficult not to want to check out the Victorian splendor of that interior while enjoying delicious cocktails and food at the bar or one of the nearby tables. While we didn't have the opportunity to enjoy the Victorian Punch Hour that was at 5:05 each afternoon, it is something of heard to check out if you can. In addition to the Booking Office, there is the Hansom in the lobby, the Seasonal Terrance for wine hour, MI + ME, and the Gothic Bar. The latter of which was also quite magical with its Victorian design and grand luxurious interior with darkly warm lighting and creative cocktail menu. Located next to King's Cross Station in addition to St. Pancras International Station, you have immediate access to the high-speed rail system that takes you as far north as Scotland and south throughout the heart of Europe. You have one of the central hubs to multiple Underground rail stations that can take you all through Central London and its outskirts. You are also a very short walking distance from both the British Library and the British Museum. Like literally across the street close. The St. Pancras was an excellent choice for a hotel during our stay in Central London. I hope we can return again when set our course back across the pond.

We took hired cars everywhere as the London Underground was not very near either. The hotel itself was clean and nice, and it offered a very good free hot breakfast with plenty of seating. There is also a Chinese restaurant attached to the hotel that was pretty tasty. The fire alarm went off VERY early on one of the days we were there, and then we were left without hot water or flushing toilets for several hours. Thank goodness we were already ready for the day. The elevator only fit a few people and was one of the smallest I have ever been in -- but it was working while we were there. I recommend this hotel if you want to do something in Greenwich. Not a great option if you want to visit London daily.

Check in was smooth and the card keys were cool since then are wooden. Lifts were inaccessible unless you scanned your card key, so that provided an extra sense of security. The room felt really small since the hallway leading to the bedroom was narrow and the fold out bed we had in the room barely left enough room for my mom to sit at the desk that was a foot away from the bed and she is a small person. The hotel room had various towels available, dry cleaning, robes, complimentary water, tea, and coffee, and we were supplied with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion amongst other things. Lights, curtains, and air conditioning can be controlled by control panels across from the restroom and by the beds. The shower was nice with an overhead shower head that felt like rain falling and the shower door can slide back and forth between using the shower and the toilet. The bed was comfy and I had decent rest considering I slept late. The breakfast buffet was on the first floor and pretty good with various types of foods from different countries available too, such as congee from China and hummus and pita bread from the Middle East. They had options to make your own yogurt, cheeses, meats, fruits, bread, eggs, baked beans, ham, sausage, and more. They had various drink choices ranging from juices, infused water, tea, and coffee. They also had a small section for kids to get cereal, but I saw an adult grab some too. We could've figure out the toaster oven since it wasn't working continuously, so there were abandoned pieces of bread left in the machine. The congee and the sliced melons were my top faves as well as the redberry drink they had. We did come back to the room in the afternoon and walked in to see a carrier of cleaning supplies by the sink and we saw our beds already made. Then the cleaning lady came in to give us more water bottles and a towel as well as to get her cleaning supplies. Originally, we were trying to locate a door hanger to tell them not to clean since it was a mess, but didn't find one. But later on I found out from a friend that we had to click a button for cleaning service on the same wall panel across from the bathroom.
