My husband and I were able to christen the pool and hot tub. It's so big! If you're having a family gathering with kids, this is a great meeting place. I have NEVER experienced this kind of service at ANY Wyndham hotel, or many others for that matter. These folks are the epitome of what customer service SHOULD be!!! The beds were comfy, I LOVED the lighting in the room so much. RARELY does a Wyndham hotel upgrade us, especially if I didn't ask. This lovely man did it without me asking. When we showed up, he escorted us to our room. The gentleman in the morning was equally pleasant and helpful. I'm so glad we found this hotel. UPDATE JUNE WE NOW HAVE BEEN HERE A FEW MORE TIMES AND STILL EXPERIENCE THE SAME GREAT SERVICE, CLEAN ROOMS, & WELL KEPT + EVERYTHING'S WORKING!! The first night, this fine establishment run by a very decent and moral husband and wife team had no vacancy. The second night I stayed and was treated like family. The loyal owners ensured I had everything I needed in order to recuperate, recharge and have physical and spiritual confidence to return safely to the East Coast. I was almost tempted to stay more time but realized I needed ample time to return. The prices they charge are incredibly reasonable and you always feel respected, protected and cherished as a human being. In many ways, meeting these kind and intelligent owners (they are multilingual) made me feel not continuing to the West Coast was a blessing.

It's old, dirty, smells like smoke in the non-smoking rooms, and is literally falling apart. The blankets were comfortable, that was it. But I couldn't even trust the cleanliness of the linens. The window in one room was missing a curtain, and had holes in the one remaining. You had to hook it to nails on either side of the window frame to force it to cover the whole window. Neighbors next door had their tv on all night and it was too easy to hear. The place in the bathroom that was supposed to have a vent was just a hole in the ceiling. Hairs in the sink. Stains on the old, old carpet. Stains on the seats of the chairs. I didn't want to touch anything. If it had been my choice, I would not have stayed here. The wifi was spotty at best. The lampshade was torn. There was a big hole in the back of the bathroom door. We had to force the front door open because it's swollen shut. The corners and baseboards had dirt accumulated. There was a new restaurant next door that it was suggested we eat at, which isn't on Yelp yet because it literally just opened last week. The food was actually okay, but the restaurant is depressing. Florescent lights. Slow service. Just the whole experience of staying the night in this town was depressing. We got up extra early just to get out of there. Maybe it'll get better with the new owner, but I doubt it'll be a quick fix.

I slept in company rented vehicle on more than one occasion because I could not stand the thought of being in the room. The bed linen was gross holes in the walls too scared to open the refrigerator and microwave the flies the flies where in the world were the flies coming from. Thank God I always bring my own comforter and towels so I could trick myself into staying long enough so I would not get fired. Heavens to Betsy what were those stains on the walls. I tried the banana chocolate bread and it was pretty good. They offer juice and coffee as well as yogurts and fruits. One night, I went to grab a quick bite from their "pantry", which would have cost me $8. An employee pointed out that dinner was also available for free. The hotel had a nice spread of sloppy joes, various chips and desserts, soda, beer and wine. My room was clean. The staff decided not to clean the room but was running late and so they didn't even get to cleaning rooms on my floor until about 6pm. They're a bit insistent on not performing extra cleanings if they don't have to. When I checked out, I saw a mouse run into the supply closet. Considering this is an area with lots of fields of grass, I can see why this might be a thing but I did notify the front desk so they could address it promptly.

My son and I each had our own room--I stayed in The Abbott, and he stayed in The Marguerite. The newly renovated interiors exceeded all expectations. Each suite had its own distinct style and charm, with luxurious, high-end finishes that made them feel truly special. I was so impressed that I immediately filmed both rooms and sent the videos to my husband--I just couldn't wait to share the experience with him.
