This place was amazing. It was clean. The people were very friendly. They were putting their Christmas up and that a plus for me. The pool is still open I think there was no cover on it. I would definitely return to this location if ever in Brady Texas. Breakfast was good coffee even better it was not from a machine, freshly brewed. There was a cat colony outback that had at least 15 cats and kittens. If I lived closer I would have taken a couple home with me. I highly recommend staying here. read more

Exactly what you expect from a holiday inn and suites. Clean rooms, hot coffee and an adequate breakfast. Hot water in the shower could be a bit hotter, but it's not lukewarm by any means. Undergoing renovations, but closing entire floors to do it so there's less disruption. Wi-Fi can be slow when the hotel is full. read more

We traveled from Utah to Arkansas, to Tennessee, then to Texas. It was a ten day trip. This hotel in Brady, Texas was the cleanest hotel we saw the entire trip. It was immaculate. It smelled clean and sanitized. The staff was very attentive and that was a definite plus for us. The breakfast was better than anywhere else that we experienced as well. If you're in the area and you don't stay here, you will regret it. THIS is the place to be on your trips to Brady. It has the best of what you need and want. read more

ordered a suite. What I received is little more than a standard room. No table and chairs, no sink/kitchen area. I am VERY unhappy. Staff told me this was a new room, but it certainly doesn't look like it. Additionally they said the change in the room was due to renovations. As I wrote this review, the manager reached out stating that the pictures on the web were old and to offer either discount or refund. I accepted the discount since we had already unpacked. The web pictures should be updated or a notation should be included warning customers of changes in the room. False advertising is never acceptable. Needless to say, I will not be staying here again. Nice staff and a nice hotel. The arctic freeze was all over Texas and the real feel temp got to -6 degrees but our room and shower were toasty. Best hotel breakfast we've had since the stupidity of covid. Biscuits and gravy were the headliner. Lots of things to choose from. We usually know what to expect when staying at Holiday Inns, which is part of the reason we choose to find one while traveling. This location was definitely NOT one of the better ones. It smelled musty and old. The bathtub didn't drain properly (I can't stand showering with water up to my ankles). The shower curtain had mold on it, and our shoes stuck to the bathroom floor (thankfully we know better than to walk around hotel rooms barefoot). Not sure how old this property is, but it needs at least a thorough cleaning. P.S. they also need to fix their tv remotes. Had to stand in a certain position to make them work. Their solution was to not point them directly at the television. SMH. read more

Extremely disappointed in our stay at this location. I am a very frequent guest at Holiday Inn Express Hotels around the country, and felt slighted here. I always rent two rooms, and this is th first Holiday Inn Express ever that refused to apply amenity points for both rooms. When inquiring, the front desk agent said they never do that. I offered to show her our prior nights receipts at a different location, and she declined even viewing them. Agent pretended to be polite, but you could easily tell it was forced, and not well practiced. There were additional front desk personnel issues I encountered, however, they may have dealt with possibly training a a new employee, and not worth describing. The pool is outdoors, and inaccessible during winter months. There is no cell phone service in this city at all if you are with either Sprint or Verison. Possibly others. Their WiFi does work well. The rooms are typical of Holiday Inn Express, clean and well appointed. Everything I needed was in the room. TV worked well. Had I not had personality issues with the front desk, I would have given this hotel either a four or five, however, courtesy and staff integrity are huge part of the reason I review properties. The training needs to be better, including training the trainer in appropriate guest relations. read more

Apparently this holiday inn has an electric bill issue. The rooms are so dark you can't work in the room with every single light in the room on. Give up on the cheap pig tail light bulbs and get some light in the room! read more

We had an unfavorable experience at this hotel for several reasons: poor communication, poor customer service and the outside of the hotel was infested with cockroaches. We called prior to our stay to verify that pets were allowed and to see how much it would cost to have our dogs stay with us. We were told over the phone that "the pet fee was $25". So we booked the room. After returning home, we reviewed our bill. We were charged over $100 more than we anticipated. So, we called the hotel to get an explanation on why we were charged extra. The girl at the front desk now explains that it's $25 per pet, per day. I expressed my aggravation with her being that I was initially told the pet fee was simply $25, and I requested to speak with a manager. She told me a manager would call us back. The next day another girl from the front desk calls us saying there is nothing they can do. We again request to speak with a manager! We finally speak with the manager, and not only is he not willing to work with us, but he was also rude and unprofessional! read more

Very clean and very nice place to spend the night. Staff really helpful really friendly the best part was when I opened my room door it is very very hot and Brady and the air conditioner was already pre-set to 66 and my room was very comfortable that's a big plus when it's 100° when you check in at 7:00 PM. My only disappointment is the Wi-Fi very slow very clunky hard to get in to didn't get any of my work done because of the Internet, but I would stay again and will stay again when I come through Brady read more

Clean comfortable professional -- just hard to spot at night. The HIE Brady is very new and a very affordable place to stop for a good nights sleep on a trip of any length. We recommend it. read more

My husband and I stayed here on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 while passing through headed to the hill country. The girl at the front desk was nice and polite. The hotel is very nice, feels a little fancy for the area which is fine by me. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the fact that you can not go in and out of the hotel without getting attacked by loads of crickets and beetles. I am not a fan of bugs but my husband doesn't mind them. He was even freaked out too by the fact the there were so many and they were out of control. They were so bad, they would hop on you and come inside with you. We found one in our bed that road in on my husbands shoulder... I'm sure it isn't like that all year long, just in the fall. read more

Absolutely disgusted. Upon arrival to room there was used coffee cup on night stand. Sink was filthy. Pulled back sheets on bed to see blood & hair. Was given a new room, but the staff was not pleasant. Horrible experience. Will be calling management tomorrow to further discuss. read more

This is a great location and very nice hotel. Had zero problems with my stay at this facility. The staff was always helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is traveling to the area. There are a few restaurants both local and chain nearby. Walmart was right across the street if we forgot anything. read more

Large group of us went to this hotel for volunteer work in the area. The hotel looks new and is the place to stay in this town. The beds were very comfortable and I liked the two choices of pillow-types; soft or firm. The room was clean and very large, I believe they upgraded us to a two bedroom suite. Breakfast is included in the stay. They have a pancake machine, biscuits and gravy, sausage, egg cheese omelet, cereal, yogurts, bagels and bananas. The staff was excellent about making sure there was enough food for our large group. Across Hwy 377 is Wal-Mart in case you need something last minute, like some of the kiddos in our group. read more

Stayed first week of May. Room was clean bed was OK. Staff at front desk was friendly, but was very disappointed on Saturday after i started getting ready to go out for dinner and realized my new bottle perfume, muscle relaxers and some clothing items were missing from my bag. The cleaning lady was fired but my items were not returned, and now I am uncomfortable about staying at this location. My husband and I would have loved to be our once a month meeting place but due to the incident i doubt we can. read more
