I've stayed here 3 times now and every time has been good! The front desk staff is always helpful whenever I stay here.. The rooms are what you get for the most part at any other holiday inn.. This locations prices are usual the cheapest in the area. The only real problem that I have about this hotel, is that the tv stations go in and out quite frequent. Only complaint I would have is the breakfast... But it's free- so I can't do much complaining. I wish it wasn't so full of carbs and had more fruit. But the location is good(rent a car if you plan on going to Seattle), clean, quiet, and spacious modern rooms. :)! read more

I flew in with my mom and boyfriend and our one year old son, my mom stayed at the hotel while my son and boyfriend and I went to see some friends . When we got back the doors where locked and I forgot my key but the lady asked if we where a guest here and I said no but my mom is. And she went on and on saying how she can't let us in because we're not on the room list. So now my son and my bf and I are stranded sleeping in our rental car outside of the hotel because my mother won't answer her phone and this stupid ignorant lady will not let us in. read more

My sister and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay. Customer service was great, except the two times I went to the front desk I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to appear. I liked that they had a little shop for snacks, and necessities. Room: we got a double queen. Beds were great, lots of space. The window had great black out windows, great tv choices. Room came with a mini fridge, a microwave and a coffee maker. All came in very handy since we were traveling with an infant. The bathroom shower had surprisingly good water pressure that we both commented on it. Breakfast: pretty good for an included breakfast. Some options: biscuits and gravy (our favorite of the selection) sausage, veggie omelet, egg white omelet, pancakes, yogurt, bagels, muffins, cereals, and 4 different juices. The hotel also has a gym and pool which we didn't get to visit this time around. The hotel itself is right off the freeway, which was very convenient. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit. read more

Super clean, super nice. I stayed here on a short visit to relatives. I was only staying one night so I reserved a standard room (hey, I'm cheap), which means I get whatever's available. The room was great. King bed, sofa, all the amenities. And CLEAN. The bed was ultra comfortable, great pillows, very quiet. And the bath products smell good. I like that in a hotel, don't you? You know, not the usual gross hotel shampoo. I was a little late getting down for breakfast in the morning (even though it is open until 9:30, which is later than a lot of places, but did I mention the bed was super comfy?), but it was a decent spread with hot and cold choices and I got plenty to eat, not just the ratty leftovers the early birds didn't want. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, check-in was fast and easy, and I will definitely stay here every time I need a place in this area. It's right off I-5 but you don't get any traffic noise. The only thing to watch for is it's a little hinky to get to -- when you get off the freeway you have to turn into what looks like a driveway to a little shopping area and it's tucked back in there. You can see it but the actual street doesn't take you to the door. Tip: Listen to that lady in your GPS when she says "turn right." Don't make the mistake of thinking she means "turn right at the next light." That's a serious mistake. :) There are signs but they're easy to miss. All in all, excellent place, excellent stay, good rates for the area. I looked at all the online sites, like Trivago and Priceline and the like, and it was just as inexpensive to book directly through the hotel site, so that's what I did. read more

The staff in this hotel blatantly lied to me. I reserved a room 4 months prior to my stay and was told that if I book online then I could receive a room I specifically requested. On the day of my stay, I called at 12:45 to ask when the room will be ready (since I remembered being told check-in was at 3:00). They said it'd be ready in 45 minutes. An hour later I came back but was told it wasn't ready and that check-in was at 4:00, not 3:00. Annoyed, I left and waited. When I returned at 4:15, the room *still* was not ready. I was also told my room wasn't the one I requested when I booked. They'd given the room I paid for 4 months ago to someone else. I was told that whatever gets requested during an online booking is just a suggestion, not a guarantee. I asked for a refund and stayed at a different hotel. The staff lies to the faces of paying customers. The staff doesn't care when an issue arises. The Best Western Navigator at 10210 Evergreen Way has *significantly* better suites than this hotel for *the exact same price* (including nicer staff). Go there. Don't go here. read more

By far the best place I've stayed in Everett. Super easy freeway access, stores, restaurants and coffee close by, free parking, hot breakfast. Room was clean and nice with a sofa, desk, dresser and even a vanity/dressing table. WIFI was reliable and staff was very nice. When I return to the area, I will stay here again. read more

I was moving across country and checked in to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Everett (exit 186/Highway 5) on March 19th for a stay until April 1st when my lease began and the movers were scheduled to arrive. Needless to say, I was concerned about the Covid-19 situation at the time and cautious about the place I selected for my extended stay. Appropriate health and safety precautions were taken throughout the property. Warren, the Manager, was very pleasant, professional and accommodating. Tristan at the front desk capably checked me into a corner room on the third floor at the end of the hall on the back side of the hotel away from the freeway (noise was never an issue). I worked from my room throughout my stay and the internet/wifi in the room was great! While many hotels had stopped serving breakfast altogether, this Holiday Inn Express offered a selection of items off a menu on a grab and go basis. I looked forward to my morning visits with Laurie and Alessandra who were always cheerful and pleasant. A shout out to Erica who also worked the front desk and to the many others at the hotel who made my stay so pleasant. I highly recommend the Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Everett for your stay. Check-in went as expected until we reached our room. As soon as my wife and I opened the door we heard a TV on full blast which was odd and upon entering we saw a NASTY room with trash, unmade bed, used condom on the bathroom floor, and towels thrown all over. Pissed, we went back to the front desk to get a different room. Initially told there were no other rooms available but after getting the manager one was found. Will not be coming back. read more

Had a little trouble finding the hotel. Not visible from 128th once you exit I-5. Hotel is on West side of I-5 and nestled next to La Quinta. Superb front desk staff, polite and attentive. My first room overlooked I-5 exit and I could hear traffic. Once I changed to a room overlooking a childcare center and La Quinta it was quieter. FYI: rooms with an odd number face away from the noise of I-5. Spacious room with king size mattress (a little too firm but doable) and the basics: microwave, frig, flat screen, 2 desk w/chairs, couch, iron & ironing board, blow dryer and great working wi-fi. The room and bathroom were very clean. I was sorry I didn't bring my swim suit for the pool and jacuzzi appeared sparkling clean. There's a small workout room next to pool w/stationary bike, elliptical, treadmills and weights. Hotel offers complimentary breakfast and evening reception serving wine and snacks. Breakfast is the usual hotel fanfare & nothing special: eggs, sausage, various fruit, pancakes, coffee, juices, hot drinks and lots of bread options. I stay here often when I'm the area. Advise making reservations during peak summer months when hotel is almost always completely booked. read more

Meh. Some bad. Some good. Bad: When I arrived, they couldn't accommodate an ADA room. They offered to move me if I wanted on day 3... but that's a big hassle. So I'm in a standard room I can't shower in (had to stick to bird baths). Wifi rarely has worked in the 4 days I've been here so I've had to use my personal cell phone data. Small tv only has 22 channels most of which are useless. Under major construction right outside my door that was so loud they offered me ear plugs. I can't talk to clients on the phone with ear plugs in, people. Good: big mini fridge, good microwave (although it was dirty when I arrived). Good pillows n bed. Large-ish room with king bed and sofa and a good desk area to work in. Good heating/ac system. Clean with the standard hotel samples. Not a lot of hallway noise or neighbor noise. I never tried the breakfast offer or the pool/hot tub as I have been stuck in my room working for 4 days. Probably wouldn't book at full price, ever. But it was a good Priceline deal for what I got out of it. I got what I paid for. Can't wait to leave in the morning. read more

After the windstorm and having no power in lake Stevens we decided to book a hotel. Originally we were going to stay at the laquinta for $89 a night. But then right next to the laquinta I saw holiday inn express. Remembering staying at several holiday inns after I left the military, I remembered they always had nicer beds and nice sheets, so to me, it was worth paying $50 more a night. I get here and they have the worst beds thinnest mattress I've ever slept on in my life in a hotel and all the linens with layered sheets instead of any type of blanket. Absolutely was not worth the extra money but the staff is friendly and they had a nice breakfast bar. Look elsewhere. 149 bucks is redonk for this place. read more

Best hotel I've stayed in a long time!!! It was CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN. I was sooo glad that I got to stay here because all the hotels were pretty pricey in August but I got a good deal through Priceline. I compare all my experiences to my stay here. 1. Great customer service....Check 2. Clean Rooms.....check 3. Continental Breakfast plus.....Rice....triple check!!! 4. Almond milk.....I don't even know what to say. Wow! Who knew you could find a decent hotel room with a king size bed, fireplace and a jetted two person tub for under $150! The room was clean and nice, with free internet and DVDs at the front desk. Continental breakfast had eggs and fruit, not just the usual stale pastries and fruit loops. Stayed for one night after attending a wedding nearby--front desk staff was VERY accommodating and gave us an early check-in. Hotel is clean, staff is really nice--the mattress pad for the pull-out sofa was holey and I had to go downstairs and ask for linens, but that wasn't a big deal. Taking off a star for the noise and the sofabed. We were in room 319 (end room, on the non-freeway side of the hotel, next to the stairs) and the exterior noise was kinda hard to sleep through. Lots of sirens and traffic/engine loudness outside; some yahoo got his big rig stuck in the parking lot and it turned into quite the 10PM drama show trying to get him out. It was so loud, I kept checking the window to make sure it was closed. I'm guessing a room near the middle of the hotel, on the backside (so on the third floor, that'd be an odd number between like, 303 and 311ish) would be quieter in terms of exterior noise. The sofabed mattress was a mess--the innards of the mattress were coming out and the thing was ripped to shreds. Very close to the freeway, grocery stores, and restaurants. Don't know if we'll be back up this way any time soon, but we'd stay here again if we needed a place to crash. read more

I was planning on celebrating st Patrick's day at Shawn o Donnells and decided I wasn't going to drive home. It was my birthday so I'll splurge a little and get a room near by. My mistake that the holiday Inn had moved across the highway. Oh well. The reservation can't be changed. Checking in the lady at the counter was very quick and polite and I walked right up to my room. Not a large room but nice. And spotless. I mean I could not find any sign of someone ever being there before me. And the window even opens. I can't remember the last time I was at a hotel where I could only rely on the air conditioning. After relaxing I decided to make the walk over the freeway to the party. But when I reached the bottom of the stairs they were setting up a 5pm brunch in their commons area. Fresh roles and a boring loose leaf salad and chips. It looked like there was something there to make nachos. But they also had an ice chest with beer and wine. I didn't have any but saw one gentleman going up for a beer. Good brands, too. I did try one of the fresh cookies. Excellent. I think a bowl of sliced cucumbers and another with green onions and baby carrots would have made it much better. But for free you can't complain. The next morning I got up and ready to go and went down for their breakfast. Actually pretty good. Scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and that was better than some restaurants I've had biscuits and gravy, many different bagels and muffins. And to mention those that work there, everyone was excellent. I really liked the attitude of the two ladies working their kitchen. I had the impression one was in charge but she didn't act like a boss. More like a teacher and certainly didn't hesitate doing something for a customer and I could catch a little of their conversation while they quickly prepared the different elements of the morning which was a lot. They both struck me as happy with their jobs and the quality of what they were making. And I saw no frustration when someone would ask for something else or a question. Definitely will be a first choice for me when I want a hotel. Also, I chose the king size bed and it was very comfortable and the big pillows were the foam kind which I don't like but theirs almost made me think that they may be part feathered. I didn't check about that. If I was told to pick something negative it would be the outside noise. It seemed like I could hear the highway traffic all night but I did have the window open so that noise could have been made less. All in all I was very happy. My first choice will be holiday inn. I have stayed in one at Washington DC and it was the same impression. read more

Highly recommend this place. Clean, affordable, and safe. Staff here is superb, from the front desk to the housekeepers, who kept the room very well kept. Room layout is nice and roomy- comfy bed, a sofa, chair, coffee table, workdesk, and a large mini-fridge and a microwave. The hotel is in a prime location- right off I-5 and numerous food establishments and restaurants within walking distance. The Future of Flight/Boeing Tour is just a short and easy drive away. The free Wi-Fi, free parking, and free breakfast is an added bonus. If you're ever in the Seattle/Everett area, definitely check this place out. read more

Very disappointed in the hotel room, the sheets looked wrinkled And used and we found hair on the sheets after we pulled back the blankets. When asked for new sheets I had to change them myself and when we pulled the sheets off we found the mattress cover covered in yellow urine stains. Went back to front desk to ask for new mattress covers and the lady on duty said "oh I'm sorry I guarantee the sheets are clean just sometimes they get hair stuck to them and they may look dirty but they are not!" We ended up taking the new blanket and sleeping on that. The room was so hot the AC was no where to be found in our bedroom, only in the 'living room' where our kids slept. We were so disappointed and upset that we will never return again. We should have known something was up when they didn't show pictures of the rooms. Our room looked nothing like it should for the amount we payed for it, and we had to pay to make our own bed up twice and still feel disgusting after sleeping in it. read more
