Stayed for one night during the fall, picked the Holiday Inn Express because this is the preferred brand for my friend I was meeting. Location is OK, right next to an expressway and train tracks, but the noise level was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful, check-in went well, breakfast in the morning was being refilled. The room itself was nice, clean and well set up. There was good bed and linens, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, TV and even a nice little sitting area. Decor was fine, nothing special, but good enough. Heating/AC worked fine and overall this was a nice place to stay. Bathroom was clean and roomy. Now for a bit of nitpicking. The view from my room was to the front canopy. The room had no USB ports to use in charging my phone or any other modern electronics, at this point I have come to expect that all I need is a USB cord. The lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim to my liking. The breakfast overall was fine with some nice touches, however they were out of quite a few items: no regular tea, no yogurt, pancake machine not working, and no hot cereal. Holiday Inn Express is one of the more expensive hotels in Bradford, while the hotel is clean and not a bad place to stay, however they need to pay a bit more attention to the small details to justify the cost. #1 The parking lot was not plowed 24 hours after snowfall. All other lots in Bradford, PA were plowed. #2 Cloth chair in room had horrible stain the size of a dinner plate. Bathtub had some kind of stain that may have been just a poorly cleaned collection of facial scrub. Nasty. #3 NO HOT WATER. Unbelievable. I waited 5mns, but still not hot enough for a shower. Exceeded expectations! Quick check-in and a three-second checkout. The room was clean, helpfully designed for those of us who have work to do (thank you Holiday Inn Xpress for the noontime checkout!), and rather quiet during our midweek. Breakfast was better than expected too with hot dishes (folded eggs, sausage links, and such), cereals, breads for toasting, bananas, and also Chobani yogurts and pre-packaged muffins. The only reaeally downside I found was that the elevator is very slow. read more

A quick layover on the way to Niagara. Nicely located just on the outside of downtown but near enough to walk to a few restaurants and one brewery. There was damage to the bathtub that looked as someone bounced off of it. Room was quiet. We slept well. Didn't really do the breakfast the next morning but the coffee was fresh and hot. read more

This hotel was great! Friend and I stayed over while checking out the Allegheny National Forest and not only got a great night sleep, but also took advantage of the complimentary hot breakfast before starting a 2-day hike in the woods. The bathroom was so spacious! First time in a long time that I opened the door and it didn't hit the toilet. The beds were both comfy and the desk space was enough to accommodate us both. The morning breakfast bar included cinnamon buns, a pancake machine (the pancakes weren't the best - they were flat, not fluffy - but watching the process was highly entertaining), as well as the normal carb staples (toast, bagels, muffins). There was also an egg-white omelet option (highly recommend), turkey sausage, and bacon. For those who prefer the cold meals, there was a small fridge under one of the TVs with yogurt, milk, and hard-boiled eggs. Coffee and tea bars, fresh fruit options, and a juice machine rounded out the breakfast options. We were quite pleased. In fact, the only disappointment was that, when we checked in, the room across the hall had left out a bag of food trash. It was still there in the morning, after an employee had slipped our receipt under our door, and after our long breakfast downstairs. We didn't use any of the amenities, so can't comment on them, but the front desk and kitchen staff were helpful and friendly. read more

I would say the rooms are "reasonably" clean. Large bathroom and tub. Mattresses were comfortable and not worn in. Nice size fridge. The pool was a bit of a disappointment, small and dark. But breakfast had some nice options. Biscuits and gravy, links, premade omelets, sweet rolls, cereal, yogurt, apples, oranges, bagels, coffee, and juice. Pancake machine was not working. Stayed at the hotel this past weekend and, wow, what a great experience! When we walked into the hotel, we were greeted by fresh baked cookies and a cheerful and outgoing front desk clerk who went out of her way to ensure that we enjoyed our stay. Our room was very clean and inviting, and we appreciated having the Keurig in the room. The Cinnabons served at breakfast were great! And who doesn't love pancakes served in a minute flat? Super impressive, frankly. The staff were professional, prompt, and the customer service was excellent. I won't hesitate to stay there again! read more

I'm giving this place a 4 as it's the best place to stay in Bradford. Pros: The rooms are clean, and you can definitely tell this place is relatively new. The rooms come with a flat screen tv and mini fridge. They have a really nice complimentary breakfast with all of the fixings (coffee, bagels, toast, cereal, fruit, eggs, sausage, bacon, pancakes, you name it). The staff is friendly too. Cons: The shower is really weird. The bottom is a ceramic tiled base with an elevated edge to prevent the water from getting out and a curtain. I've never seen a shower set up like this before. The rooms are a little to dim for my liking as well. The gym is REALLY small and definitely needs an upgrade (one bike, elliptical and treadmill and two sets of weights). And it's not in the best location (right next to the train)...although I haven't heard the train pass by...yet. read more

Typical Holiday Inn nothing special. We stayed in a 2 queen bed "suite" with a small loveseat. Well suite I wouldn't say that the loveseat was gross stains all over it and there was no tv in the sitting area just the tv on the bed side so I couldn't watch anything while the kids where sleeping. It does have a pool 5 foot deep on the smaller size but no one was in there so good enough for us but chilly water. There is no hot tub unfortunately though but whatever. Might look elsewhere next time we go out there it's like a maze to get to the hotel no easy on off 219. Stayed in room 202. read more

Brand new property that's in the middle of nowhere. So new my GPS struggled to find it! No restaurants in the area, but the typical HIE breakfast made up for that. Cheaper on IHG points than anything in NY (my final destination). Quiet, insanely clean, super friendly staff. My room was HUGE. The pool was closed during our stay. Breakfast is typical for this class of hotel - bananas, apples, oranges, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, milk, coffee, bread assortment, oatmeal and toppings, three trays of hot food. The pancake machine was broken. No waffles. Beds were soft but the sofa bed in out accessible suite was very uncomfortable because the metal springs could be felt through the thin mattress. The sofa itself was gross - covered everywhere with large stains. We also found trash underneath the sofa that was visible when we pulled it out to put sheets on it. We had to ask for blankets for the sofa bed as there were none in the room. Hotel was quiet. read more

This place was AMAZING! my room looked great and smelled great. I was in the king size suite. The king size bed was big and soft . There was a bar area with a sink, microwave, and fridge. Foam plates and plastic cutlery was provided. The bathroom was spacious and spotless. But the best part of the room was the whirlpool in the middle of the room. I took a bubble bath and watched tv while I talked on the phone. I felt like royalty and the tub was spotless. Erica at the front desk was extremely helpful and the breakfast was good. Bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits n gravy and tasty cinnamon rolls. They also offer yogurt, cereal, fruit and baked goods. The cool thing is the pancake machine. Loved the rooms. Very clean and spacious Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was delicious. The two complaints I have is the train tracks nearby. Train went by at 4am and 6am woke us up. They do have free earplugs at front desk which I noticed when we checked out. Second complaint is we had to activate our keys several times.
