Absolutely beautiful property, many amenities for guests to enjoy and the two corgis running around was a lovely bonus if you ask my 8 year old daughter. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch of the farmhouse and playing board games while we waited for dusk. Breakfast was delicious - plenty of options to meet every palate. Lots of cute goodies in the gift shop as well. Price was very reasonable, especially for the service provided. We would love to stay again one day!

There is a shared living room, kitchen, and wrap around porch. We spent hours on the porch as we don't have any outdoor space at our home in the city. We met sooo many nice people who were staying there and we all hung out on the porch together each day. We arrived on a Sunday night and learned from other guests that no places are open for dining on Sundays, so we went to the local food store and bought steaks and other side dishes and cooked out on the gas grill area. Like everyone is saying in their reviews, the breakfast is spectacular. We also bought a ton of homemade jam, salsa, and honey in the gift shop. It was quite reasonably priced. In terms of exercising, I didn't really feel safe biking or running from the bnb as the roads have no shoulder and the large trucks speed down the road, but my bf biked from there every day. I walked the steep hilly dirt road across the street and drove to safer places to run/bike. Everything is a pretty far drive away, but I think that is normal life for this part of the state and we just enjoyed the scenery of country life on our drives. I def would stay here again next time if I come back to this area.

The rooms weren't cleaned, I had a clogged tub due to a lot of hair and my bedding had a lot of hair in it as well. I requested another room and they gave me one. I spoke with another gentleman at the lounge area, he stated they don't really do a good job at cleaning at this location. Happy Yelping

The good: - Lobby is spacious, updated, and overall quite nice. - Breakfast is good! There's waffle makers, eggs, a meat, breads, assorted muffins/danishes, yogurt, oatmeal bear. Plus a really fancy Nescafé coffee maker! I was impressed. - Front desk staff is very nice. - Location - close to campus, supermarket right next door, close to the highway - spacious room The bad: - WiFi was unreliable at best. - Firm bed - not so firm it's uncomfortable, but definitely firm. - Small bathroom - you have to stand to the side of the toilet just to close the door - Dirty vents in the bathroom - Batteries kept falling out of TV remote - Flooring in hallways is hideous - Very random and strange artwork throughout building ... Fire, feet, tomatoes, bugs... just weird and random - Valiant attempts at updates were made, but numerous points of damage on walls/doors was evident

So we flew from LAX to Buffalo, NY, which allowed us to visit Niagara Falls (stunning) and then take a quick drive south to Bradford, PA (home of Zippo lighters). The first thing one notices when entering this part of Pennsylvania is how well-kept the homes and farms are. And when you turn onto the access road to the Glendorn Lodge, you see their farm-to-table patch of a vegetable farm. Once through the gate, the drive is a couple of miles to the main lodge and check-in. The staff are so wonderful and polite, calling us by our last names, which is very formal but a nice touch! Our home, cabin, was lovely beyond description. The master bedroom was stunning, the screened-in porch was perfect for 10 to 12 people hanging out (ideal for a family reunion), and we had an outdoor fireplace/pit blazing and roasting marshmallows for the kids. The next morning, we rode bicycles that you keep at your cabin home. We went out on a small lake with paddleboards, canoes, kayaks, etc. We also played volleyball and had lunch catered and delivered to the lake - fantastic service. The next day we played tennis, swam, basketball and even shot skeet! As our time at Glendorn came to a close, we reflected on the unparalleled service and the deep sense of relaxation we experienced throughout our stay. The staff truly went above and beyond, ensuring every detail was perfect, and their personalized approach made us feel like cherished guests rather than just visitors. To cap off our trip, we took a leisurely drive back toward Buffalo, savoring the memories of Niagara Falls and our time at the resort. We left Glendorn with our spirits lifted, ready to cherish the beauty of nature and the luxury of wonderful hospitality. If you ever find yourself in the northwest corner of Pennsylvania, I highly recommend Glendorn for an unforgettable retreat. It's a hidden gem that beautifully combines nature, comfort, and top-notch service!

Location is OK, right next to an expressway and train tracks, but the noise level was fine. Staff was friendly and helpful, check-in went well, breakfast in the morning was being refilled. The room itself was nice, clean and well set up. There was good bed and linens, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, TV and even a nice little sitting area. Decor was fine, nothing special, but good enough. Heating/AC worked fine and overall this was a nice place to stay. Bathroom was clean and roomy. Now for a bit of nitpicking. The view from my room was to the front canopy. The room had no USB ports to use in charging my phone or any other modern electronics, at this point I have come to expect that all I need is a USB cord. The lighting in the bathroom was a bit dim to my liking. The breakfast overall was fine with some nice touches, however they were out of quite a few items: no regular tea, no yogurt, pancake machine not working, and no hot cereal. Holiday Inn Express is one of the more expensive hotels in Bradford, while the hotel is clean and not a bad place to stay, however they need to pay a bit more attention to the small details to justify the cost. Fine place to stay but probably not the best value in Bradford.

The owner was nice and accomodated us on the night that we needed to stay instead of the night that was actually booked through their system. Below is a list of pros and cons. I would not recommend staying here. My husband and I stayed in the 101 Davis room. Pros: Extremely comfortable King size bed, Clean, non smoking, internet access, 2 soft bath robes provided, plenty of towels provided, owner was nice and accomodating given the situation. Cons: Everything was outdated and in need of an upgrade: cracked stained ceiling, old carpet, window air conditioning unit that sounded like it was going to take off. The private bathroom is across hallway- not connected to room and the window in bathroom did not open nor did it have an exhaust fan. The dorm fridge provided was hardly balancing on an old chair, not safe or stable at all. Lastly their breakfast was okay at best. I've had better breakfast at hotel chains that offer continental breakfast. All that was offered was scrambled eggs, sausage and some fruit. No homemade pastries, pancakes, potatoes, quiche or typical "Bed and Breakfast" food. No jelly or jam and the 4 slice toaster didn't cut it when you had a room full of people waiting to make toast. We were very disappointed, especially after reading the good reviews from others.
