We were lucky we didn't get stuck in Times Square Saturday night with the flat tire, we'd probably still be there! Our driver Al was the BEST! You should see the way he drove in Manhattan with all the traffic and pedestrians. He could maneuver our coach down a one way street between a parked catering truck and a big box truck! Russ our tour guide was fabulous as well. Very personable, informative and all around fun. Once I recover from this trip I'm going to look up another destination with this duo. They were on time and were able to provide us with a large 55 passenger bus which was great to transfer a lot of people at once. In the world of wedding where anytime you put the word wedding in it the price increases by 3x, Great day was really well priced compared to any other transportation company I spoke with. They were quick to respond and flexible to changes of location as wedding plans evolved. My friends also used them and had a good experience as well. Only 1 negative was at the end of the night going back to the hotel the radio was not working so that kinda put a damper on things but lucky in today's age we have phones and played music on our phones to help keep the party rolling. Tourist attraction…read more This is one of those places that you have to do once just to see it. It's $30 for adults for a 3 attraction pass. You get to pick your adventure. We chose the cave, butterfly house, and mini golf. The great thing about the pass is you don't have to do it all in the same day. You can come back in finish another. The first attraction we visited is the cave. Even though you have a pass you have to exchange it for a ticketed time to go into the cave. They lead tours often so you usually done have to wait long. This is located inside the gift shop. The cave was fun to see on a historical point but the cave itself has not been well preserved. I agree with many other reviews that depending on your guide it can make the experience okay or awesome. Ours was just okay. The butterfly house was our next pick. It is a greenhouse like structure and was filled with hundreds of butterflies. A cool experience if you have never done anything like it before. We cam back the following day to do mini golf. It is open later than the other attractions so you can come back in the evening when it's not busy and enjoy yourself. I loved how each hole had a fact about the war on the water. There is also a free car museum, food stand, and bathrooms available.

My husband and I were impressed with the quality and diversity of the regional wines. Dick Ries led our tour and was OUTSTANDING! Informative and engaged and charming! He was knowledgeable across the board and was connected with the staff and operations at each of our stops. We've done lots of wine tastings and tours over the years and I was wondering if I'd learn anything new AND I DID! The packet they provided for the tour was excellent and VERY useful and informative. It was a beautiful day and the wineries were gorgeous and treated us like royalty. It was a treat to be delivered to each location and to just sit back and enjoy the ride. We booked the back roads tour which lasted 2 hours, with a stop at a candle shop owned and operated by an Amish family. Also a stop at an Amish home which you are quickly ushered through (but get to see how they live) to the quilting area where you can purchase quilts, etc. The quilts are made right in the home, and while very expensive this family does take layaway. We passed buggies on our journey as we drove along the back roads. We learned a lot about the Ohio Amish, which are apparently different from other Amish communities I have visited in the past. If you are in the area, book the tour. It is well worth your time and you will learn quite a bit.

There were so many animals that we got to see and feed! We didn't get to see the giraffes because it was still quite cold outside, so they need to stay in the warm. After the drive thru they had a really cool walk through part with load of other animals. We got to feed a turtle, goats, coy and even birds! They had tons of feeding experiences and lots of other animal to see. It was a really fun time and great for the kiddo. We will definitely be back!

Above ground, they have turned the area into a very nice park area with a shelter house with picnic tables, a small playground, and a gem mining area, plus plentiful green space. The restrooms are clean. The visitor's center houses the ticketing area and gift shop. This is a very nice place to explore!

This is a 45 minute tour/ride and cost is $50 per adult and $45 for children up to age 10. This airboat is owned by a husband and wife. Definitely recommend to call ahead and schedule a ride time. There are a total of 6 seats available for passengers or if you don't mind sitting on ground you can add more. Each chair has a handle to hold onto to and noise cancelling headphones are provided as air boats are very loud. Definitely recommend bringing a spare set of clothes as you will get wet. What an absolute blast this was. You totally need to check it out next time you're in Sandusky. I felt like I was a rock gliding across the water. Man oh man was this totally worth the drive!!

Marblehead Lighthouse State Park is a great spot for a relaxing and scenic visit along Lake Erie…read more We went last weekend and were able to tour the lighthouse, which was definitely worth it. Admission was $5 per person, and kids 5 and under were free. The volunteers were friendly and shared a brief but interesting history of the lighthouse and how it's been used over the years. Once inside, be ready for a bit of a climb as there are 77 narrow spiral steps leading up to an outdoor observation area. The view is worth it to see beautiful sights of Lake Erie. Even if it's not that clear of a day, you can still see Cedar Point and the Lake Erie islands in the distance. The park itself is very well maintained and offers easy access to the shoreline while still feeling safe and family-friendly. It's a peaceful place to sit, relax, and enjoy the lake breeze and sounds. Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area.

Turns out we were the only ones on the tour. We traveled through many neighborhoods giving us a chance to see some areas we hadn't previously visited.
