Seriously please save yourself the time and effort and energy. Sure, it may be nice to live here if you live in a townhome, but if you live in the four story apartment buildings then it really sucks. They don't spray for bugs and it always stinks outside. And like weed outside.

I am definitely happy and glad I decided to go with Reserves for the following: 1) super safe. No weird people. Just very safe. I'm talking about building 700- so this reviews on building 700. 2) close to everything, and I'm never stuck in traffic. You can cut the grass to Sams club for dinner and cut back as exercise. 3) No weird neighbors. Have you ever had that creepy neighbor? I have! Here, it's just very quiet and people mind their own business. 4) inside is super clean and I love that maintenance comes to the rescue immediately. And they are super sweet. 5). Now that I think of it., I think paying the extra money is worth it if you think of the office people and the staff. They really are wonderful and not like some of the folks at other apartment where they treat you like they have something stuck up theirs butts-I've experienced that in college. Here, they are always there.

Since the last apartment manager was put in place she has been extremely rude and unprofessional to me on multiple occasions with the last being today when she said, and this is a DIRECT QUOTE, "I am sick of you. I am going to evict you." This comes as a result of me not wanting them to enter my apartment because I had been sleeping and they had given me less than 24 hours notice that they would be changing a filter. Regardless of how she felt about me this unprofessional and rude behavior should not be tolerated. I am not the only tenant who has had to endure her behavior and I feel that something should be done. If you are looking for an apartment, my opinion is that you bypass this one, and that is a shame because as a long-time tenant I have always held a high opinion of Springview until now. I ditched the rent-a-car and walked along the Ohio River through a park on the way to my gig. The park where they hold the WC Handy Blues festival - hope to get back there for that one day! Coy (the owner) was very accomodating. Breakfast was always very good, downstairs in the dining room. Quiet, spacious, with a full kitchenette. Wifi worked well. Price is competitive to mid-priced hotels, which you would have to drive 20-30 mins to Evansville for. Hope to go back with my wife sometime.

This is my second stay in this locally owned place. The first time was fine. Second time was…read more.. mixed. The hotel is a one-level layout: old fashioned with all rooms open to the front. There is an older section that is from the 50s., a newer section, located up a slope, from the 1990s. The first stay was in the newer section. The room was comfortable and clean, appointed with expected furniture and amenities. The layout and plumbing are old style. The bed was comfortable. The room is heated and cooled by an older type under-the-window HVAC unit common on older hotels. The place is showing some signs of wear. The story from this visit: This most recent visit, on June 18, 2024, I was given a room in the older section. The door was missing the security bar, the deadbolt was difficult to engage, requiring a push on the door. There was a remote control for a HVAC unit, but it was not in evidence in the room. It may have been removed. The day outside was warm and the room uncomfortably warm. I've never done this, but this time I asked to be moved to another room. The desk clerk was responsive and assigned me a room in the upper, newer section. It was as comfortable as the one I had the first stay 2 years ago. So, I recommend this hotel with reservations: if you are booking a room, ensure that you are assigned a room in the newer section, rooms 35 and up. it will prove equal to a mid-range chain hotel. Avoid the older section.

The owners, Norris and Mary Elizabeth Priest, are so nice and wonderful, you want to give them a hug. They live next door, so if you're the only ones staying in the B&B like we were, you have the house to yourself. Inside it's like your grandparent's house, with knick knacks and historic pictures of Kentucky. Apparently there was a railroad and bridge nearby. The house also has Wifi so it's not completely outdated. They make you breakfast in the morning, and you can even see hummingbirds buzzing next to the window. Mary Elizabeth told me sometimes they'll eat pieces of fruit if you offer it to them, though they seemed a little shy this time. Nice little quaint place! If you're ever in the area.

He even broke out some board games to pass the time. The whole experience was made best by his adorable pair of cats, the Berry Brothers, as he affectionately called them. I would 10/10 highly recommend Eric's Place to anyone who asked. But especially unproblematic single men. The only reason it did not get a 5th star is because, in exchange for staying there, he made me do 3 whole days of hard physical labor. But hey, free is free!
