Straight into the nail/pedi parlour area this is also where the reception desk... I was a walk in, so with no appointment I was greeted by friendly assistant, chancing my arm for shellac nails at 5pm on a Saturday, this was not a problem she promptly seated me and got it underway. At great price of €25 they have a huge range of colours! They offer everything from hands, feet and body treatments plus their waxing is priced really well so will be popping back and availing of this. Only 2 doors up from me, this could be my regular go to place... Also love they do make up application so for special occasions this could work great for me :-) Whilst my nails were being done, there was light hearted chat going on amongst us; there was another lady having her nails done and the 2 workers, one being the owner and she was super friendly, within a few weeks of opening they've really done well in the village, considering local competition these ladies have a great reputation so people have warmed to them and got booking in with them. My nails are looking great... They lasted for 3 weeks so great job and when I went back to have the shellac redone, the experience was again excellent :-)

I moved to Dublin from San Francisco 6 months ago and have had a heck of a time finding a decent mani/pedi...until now. Boom, Amia. Not only do they make my sausage fingers look beautiful but they also make me feel welcome and warm and as though I'm an old friend walking through the door when I come in. Getting my nails done used to be a chore; I now look forward to it. Aaaand that's just the tip of the iceberg. Dive into their spa treatments and there is no way you'll be disappointed. In fact, I'll bet you my own money that you'll find a new level of bliss with their services. Specifically, I treated myself to the body exfoliation scrub and the hot stone massage treatment. I'm not gonna lie, I've had some pleasurable experiences in my life but they're all almost a distant second to this spa treatment. Head's up, it's not the mani/pedi price and experience you'd be used to coming from San Francisco. It's not a quickie in and out but schedule yourself some time for it. It's worth it. Had best massage by Marco who was AMAZING and had such a calm, relaxed presence. He took me around the whole beautiful spa (pilates and yoga rooms!) and was very proud of the place (nice to be around associates who take such pride in their work / salon). Marco is the best. My wife then went for her treatment only to be told it was a male therapist, which she wasn't prepared for and politely advised Giordan on reception of this fact, Giordan couldn't offer a solution and then left a voicemail message for her manager Tonya to call my wife, upon not receiving any call, my wife rang back an hour later and was advised the manager was due in so my wife said she would drop in to see her, after waiting on the manager, my wife was brought into a private room to talk where Tonya immediately went on the defensive, stating that my wife didn't know what she was talking about because I was told at the time of booking "over the phone" that this would be "Marco", she advised my wife she was beside the receptionist at the time of this alleged call. Firstly, the owner blatantly LIED, as all the correspondence was by email, secondly it was never stated that the therapist was a male named Marco, my wife requested a refund for the full treatment which never took place, only to be told by the owner this would not happen she would run her business the way she wanted and she was asked to leave the salon. My wife was extremely upset at how she was treated so I called the salon and spoke very politely with Jordan who passed on my concerns to Tonya. I since received a call from Tonya, who started by telling me how upset SHE was, at this point I began to advise her of her LIES, only to be hung up on. As someone who works in a Client facing business, this is the worst level of customer service I have ever heard about, I have also made my case that I have all the conversations when booking on email and that I will be looking into this further. No woman should be made feel uncomfortable or treated this appallingly for refusing a treatment with a male therapist.
