After a short taxi ride, we found the place and were greeted by the two business owners who were originally from Thailand but had married Irishman and have since relocated to Dublin. The place is clean, warm, and welcoming. There are authentic Thai souvenirs and memorabilia scattered throughout the shop. The two ladies worked on my friend and I are in separate private rooms. As with other massage therapist, she asked if I needed work on any particular area and I said my legs and lower back because we had been walking so much. I'm not a big fan of massages in general, but my friend talked me into coming here today. I have to say, compared to other Thai massages i've had in the past, this was definitely the most thorough. There was plenty of communication through out and checking in to make sure the pressure and posture was good. The 2 ladies who run it were really lovely. A nice change from bigger massage places is that you can always request the therapist you like, since it's only the 2 of them! Both from Thailand originally, so it's as authentic as it gets. I wanted a lot of pressure and she really got in there. Also brought in hot stones and did some great twisting and cracking (she asked first) that brought a lot of relief to my back. Found this place on Yelp and decided to try it out for a case of real bad back pain. Never had Thai type massage before and got 100% converted. It combines stretching and pressure in a well balanced way. The massage therapist just applied the amount of pressure I was able to tolerate and my back feels much better. The ladies were strong (sssoooo strong) and friendly. In fact, they asked for more feedback during the massage and adjusted with every request on applying pressure and making sure to note every sore spot we mentioned.
