Holistic health associates is a great place to come for acupuncture. As a new patient they do an extensive intake with you and talk to you about your goals. I have a pulled muscle in my back that would not heal and after just one session it's been feeling so much better. They offer not only acupuncture but cupping and massages. I also really like that when they saw my boyfriend they knew to encourage him to get an MRI when it was clear his back issue was more than a pulled muscle. That's responsible healthcare. The atmosphere is really relaxing and they offer summer package deals. Definitely consider coming here even if just for a relaxing afternoon. read more

Underwhelming experience. I went in for shoulder pain, first time doing acupuncture, and my therapist after going in and out of the room multiple times, not fully understanding where my pain was, at the end of the session admitted she realized she didn't treat the root of my problem. If you know you didn't treat the problem, why did I have to pay for my session and why didn't you invite me back to treat the root of the problem. I never heard back from them. I hope others have better luck. The admin support was terrific though and truly tried to accommodate my schedule. read more

I was looking for treatment outside of typical Western models. Upon recommendation, I went to Ryan Dinner for acupuncture. Six months later, I am a true convert. Ryan not only treated my original complaint, he has been able to address two others. He is always patient, empathetic, and positive. I suppose the only downside is he is very popular and at times it is difficult to get the appointment time I prefer. Thankfully, the efficient staff use a wait list. I have also heard from my own clients great things about 2 other practitioners at HHA. Denise is my massage therapist at HHA. The myofascial release she performed was TRANSFORMATIVE. I bring in medical tests reports and he reads them and will tweak my treatments if it is necessary. I always get relief and improvement from him. I started going for acupuncture to help naturally induce labor (I am now 41 weeks pregnant) I went for one appointment and the next day I had dilated to 2cm! As a prospective acupuncture student, I had the opportunity of shadowing Ryan Diener this summer, watching his interactions with patients and asking him various questions on treatment options and methods. It took me very little time to realize that I was observing a practitioner with the highest level of professionalism and concern for his patients.
