They charged me for their bad installation over $450 just to fix their errors. The guy they sent out, no fault of his, said it happens all the time where the lines get dirt from cutting them in the first place and they are in too much of a hurry to clean them upon installation so they come back and make even more later! Had a new ceiling fan installed and another one replaced. They were very quick to provide an…read moreinitial estimate and performed the work early the next week. One hiccup was that the person who did the estimate said he'd be doing the work, but misjudged how to implement the new install and wasn't there on install day. Two different people showed up on install day and noticed right away it couldn't be done the way the first person thought (also didn't seem like it was communicated to them what we needed done in general, so I needed to explain). They were very quick to troubleshoot and come up with a solution though. They did everything, including putting the fans together out of the boxes, and got the job done quickly and at a fair rate. Very friendly and treated everything with a sense of urgency. The new fans have been working great and will definitely keep Biechler in mind for any future projects. Highly recommended! I think if they work on the logistics/communication between the estimator and people doing the work, it will make their job go even smoother. Fortunately, they have some great problem solvers on their team.

We had a dip/belly in our main sewer line that needed to be replaced. Molitor Plumbing was sent by…read moreour insurance company to replace the main sewer line. We didn't receive a courtesy call or heads up until 2 hours before they were coming. Some notice would have been helpful because we would have been able to save the flowers/decorative stones and notify our tenants beforehand. Adam Molitor lead this project and informed us at the end of that day that their work was done. They didn't level the yard or repack the dirt underneath the sidewalk, leaving large dips all over the yard and hollow spaces under the sidewalk. We would not be able to re-seed the yard the way they left it, and more importantly with no support underneath the sidewalk it will eventually collapse or crack. They also cracked a 2 ft section on our main driveway in the process, and when we mentioned these concerns to Adam his suggestion was for us to remove the sidewalk completely and leave that area with dirt, and "your driveway was brittle, so it was likely to break anyways". Because they did not get a permit prior to doing this job, no inspection was done after the job. With all the issues we were seeing, we decided to get the main sewer line scoped just to make sure everything was good. It was then that we found out that the old sewer line was still there and no new sewer line was put in. We called Molitor's office to inquire, and the office manager said to his knowledge the work was indeed completed. We also left a voice mail for Adam to call us back; no return call from Adam. We did receive a call from their office a few days later stating that we must have misunderstood Adam and they were planning to come back. I'm not sure why anyone would go through the trouble of putting the dirt back if they were planning to come back to finish the work. The insurance company got billed for the whole scope of work in the meantime. We then requested to have another company come to finish the work. This company got a permit, removed all the old sewer line and took a lot of pictures to show their work, and had the city inspector come to sign off on the work afterwards. They had to tear up the yard again and did not find any new sewer line put in by Molitor. We have worked with many companies in the past and we have never experienced anything like this. Not only did they not fix the problem, they didn't seem to care what damages they caused in the process, and billed for something they did not do. I would urge you to ask a lot of questions and ask for pictures and proof of work afterwards if you choose to use this company.
