Wife had Kasespatzle ( a cheesy noodle dish) at 14.30 euros, I had a nine piece plate of Nurnberger bratwurst at 15 euros. Our wines were at 6.20 and 7.50 euros. I ordered the 1/2 Swine Hock with cheese spätzle, there is a 3 € charge to substitute potato for spätzle, well worth the money. The food was really good, no complaints. One thing to consider, if you sit in the beer garden, the menu is limited. If you get full service inside, the menu has many more options. In retrospect, we would of ate inside so I could have favorite jäger schnitzel. I would go here again!

The photos really speak for themselves. Service was the biggest issue. We repeatedly tried to get someone's attention to place our order, but the servers seemed to avoid eye contact and kept waiting for someone else to help us. Even getting the check was a struggle--we eventually had to get up and go to a counter ourselves. It felt like the staff had little interest in actually serving the customers. The atmosphere itself has the traditional Bavarian beer hall feel, but unfortunately, the poor food, disappointing beer pour, and especially the terrible service completely overshadowed it. I really wanted to like this place, but based on our experience, there are much better beer halls and beer gardens in Munich.

Highly recommend getting the weissbier at any and all restaurants as it is the stronger and more flavorful selection. Later in the evening a younger girl asked us if we needed anything and spoke English, she also helped us with ordering other drinks and even called us a cab since we had no service to use Uber. I wish she was our original server and was a little annoyed he did not even ask her to help us in the first place. He also did not give me my change trying to take advantage of the fact that Americans tip, and in Germany the tip is included. I didn't want to make a big deal over 5 more euros but pretty rude. This would be the main reason for only 3 stars. Other than that it was a cool experience and beautiful beer garden for outside seating.

The gentleman was so sweet, noticing that we were tourists, and recommended several things. We decided to go with a classic and one 'shot in the dark.' She order the pork schnitzel! Very tasty.
