Nice cafe with nice breakfast platter and coffee. Staff was not super friendly and seemed a little disorganized, but it was a solid place to read a book and enjoy a bite. Their bar is really cute, I wish there were stools there. read more

When we tried to sit, the waiter pointed to the sign on table that said "Reserved." So we sat elsewhere. It took us 15 minutes to go through the non-English menu and we saw that none of the reserved window seats were taken yet. Another couple who had window seats got up and left so we took their spot. The waiter told us this table is also reserved. I told him he has 5 tables that are reserved none were filled in last 15 minutes, when are they reserved for? He couldn't say. Long story short we had to claim a window table that was falsely marked as reserved. In our entire stay of over 45 minutes, none of the reserved tables were taken. View is interesting, atmosphere casual, food presentation is 9/10, food is 7/10. Low stars for the window table issue per above.

Found this cozy spot a few blocks off the Stadtpark and figured I'd give it a shot. So glad I did. it was pretty packed when we got ther, we were able to get a high top table after just a few minutes wait. Ordered the beef tartare and schnitzel. Be forewarned, they don't skimp on the portions here. The tartare was delicious and came with a salad and about a half of stick of butter, which was interesting. Schnitzel was big enough to feed at least two people and left me feeling like I had finally experienced a real local meal. Wine was also great and made me wish I could have stayed there drinking it all night. But alas, I had an early flight to catch the next day...
