All Virginia Title & Escrow offered the lowest price. My Escrow Officer was named Jamie. During the closing process, a problem with the title to the home was discovered, and a survey of the land needed to be done. Once the survey was complete, it was determined that a boundary agreement between the parties was required in order for title insurance to be issued. Jamie went above and beyond in in finding the owner of the adjacent property to get that boundary agreement put in place. We closed right on time, and I could not have been happier. We believe that purchasing a house should be a positive experience, but when your realtor is concerned about offending his associates, our experience turned negative and frustrating. We went ahead with the purchase (we loved the house) and I guess the realtor thought it was funny to send a General Contractor to the house (when we were responsible for the bill) the day the movers were moving us in, to do some painting from Due Diligence. We sent the contractor home and never used him. I would never use a Wilkins Realtor again.

I was told they would do basic cleaning. Went the next day and fireplace , storage and floor was still dirty. I was told I could get out the lease with full refund. I advise them i would get back with them. That night I had someone to clean the house, at that time we found in the cabinet what looks to be mold also the ac was leaking water with mold on it and ceiling was wet in the den area. Next day I told them I will take that offer to get out my lease with full refund. Later that day they say the owner changed her mind and not refund everything, but still refund the deposit. That day i turned in the keys. Day after that I was told the owner changed her mind again and decided to only refund the money from the day we turned in keys till the end of the month. My issue is wilkins & co, told me I could get out the lease before I found what I believe is mold with a full refund. But after I turned in keys that changed completely and no one wanted to stand on that. They then offer to give me the keys back, by then utilities was already turned off. And the mold still wasn't tested and the ceiling still was wet. Of course I dont want to move in this house without these things being taken care of and with no one standing on their word. My God is an amazing God and what I hate is I never get to see the common when it come back. I just hope yall think about me when it do

We did so and after that I'd regularly send Teresa homes on Zillow that we liked. After a month of this my wife and I decided to find a short term rental and come to the area because we figured it'd be easier. After a week of getting settled in we met with Teresa in person for the first time. She had some homes to show us followed by giving us a tour of Danville, and then lunch at a local hidden gem of a restaurant. All in all she went above and beyond for us, from driving all the way out to Martinsville to look at a house with us, to her recommendations for a loan, and even helping us negotiate with the seller. This was our first time buying a home and Teresa had no problem holding our hand from the start to being there at the closing.
