Called again at about 4:45 because I needed to leave to get my kids and didn't want to miss them since the time frame was through 6pm. I was told that they called me 3 times and cancelled the service because I never answered. No missed calls, no voice-mail, not even a text from them at all. Hoping something just got lost in communication, I scheduled again for the next day and took another day off work. The tech did show this time but was a sub contractor of this company and basically said he can't really tell me anything because he isn't part of the contracted company. Took about 3 minutes to look at the fridge, said he would tell them to order parts and left. Here I am a week later. They have not answered their phones or responded to my voice mails so I can see if they even ordered the parts or schedule a new appoint for the actual repair. Called Maytag/Whirlpool again today and requested a new contractor. ​

I was dissatisfied with his work and behavior, so I contacted Select Home Warranty's customer service. He threatened to call the police if I didn't pay him $100 immediately. Although I didn't refuse to pay, I needed to confirm the situation with the customer service representative. During the conversation, however, before I could resolve the issue, he went ahead and called the police, falsely accusing me. From the beginning, the Korean worker had an arrogant and extremely rude attitude. It was particularly concerning that he seemed constantly upset. I disliked his blunt and peculiar manner of communication. If you want to avoid wasting your time and money, I strongly advise staying away from both this contractor and Select Home Warranty.
