There are some real good burger places around town, but the Hollywood Canteen is definitely the best place on the right side of the Alster. Pretty packed during lunch time...but i always got a table and none-hectic-friendly service. Burgers are the bomb...imagine the strangest combination and you'll probably find it on the menu (Banana-peanutbutter-beef-burger etc...) Even though the fries are not the best in town...the milkshakes make it worthwhile. And because the prices are more than fair, overall 5 stars! read more

Just ordered two Burgers and fries. A XL-Burger, a Toni Curtis and twister fries. It took them round about 15 minutes to deliver it, wow! I think I never had such a fast delivery, ever! The food was hot and even the fries were crispy. The burger was tasty and had fresh ingredients. The last time I ordered there, I had a burger that is not going to be my favorite, but thats because I like my burgers simple and just with cheese and vegetables. I would say it's a solid burger, but you just can't compare it to really good burger like at In-n-out. The diner itself is held in a 60's style, red furniture and chrome. It's a nice place to get a bite to eat. read more

Their burgers are okay but do not ever ever order there Boston grill plate or anything under steak section in that regard. It's disgusting. They try to pass burger meat as steak and the ribs came hard, half cooked and tasted like detergent. Only the chicken was edible. The fries and potatoes wedges are cold and hard and can't be swallowed easily. Worse thing of it all: the charge 15 euros for then disgusting grill plate. read more

Darüber haben sich gleich mehrere Gäste beschwert. Hier geht man nach dem Kino gerne mal hin, mir war nach dem letzten Mal aber sowas von schlecht, dass ich hier niemals wieder zu Gast sein werde. Das Kino scheint auch der einzige Grund zu sein, warum dieses Restaurant noch läuft. Klare Empfehlung: Wem seine Gesundheit lieb ist, meidet diese Filiale tunlichst.

I went inside to investigate…read more Apparently it means that it has two counters, a normal McDonalds one and a very Starbucks-esque one that sells all manner of coffee and cakes. I'm not sure I totally see the point, but I guess being able to choose the coffee you want at a drivethru would be good. Inside the place is pretty randomly decorated. One third of the seating area is like a starbucks, another third is how you'd expect a flagship McDonalds restaurant to look - very shiny, and the middle third is some sort of weird hybrid. One final thing worth mentioning is that they have a children's playground and a drivethru.

Wer gern gute Burger isst und lieber ein bisschen mehr Geld für mehr Qualität ausgeben mag, der sollte anstatt zu den großen Fastfoodketten einmal zur Hollywood Canteen gehen. Hier hat man noch das Gefühl, der Burger wird mit Liebe gemacht, außerdem ist er wirklich frisch zubereitet. Die Atmosphäre im Retro-Style des American Diner kommt noch oben drauf da schmeckt der Burger nochmal so gut. Und wer lieber zu Hause bleibt, für den gibt es den Lieferservice in die eigenen vier Wände ! read more

Netter Laden, bei meinem Besuch waren wir leider zeitweilig die einzelnen Gäste, wodurch man sich fast etwas einsam fühlte. Das Essen kam relativ schnell und war sehr lecker! Jedenfalls besser, als irgend nen Burger beim großen M oder BK zu holen und teurer ist es dort auch nicht. Komme gerne wieder und kann das Restaurant weiterempfehlen! Man fühlt sich wirklich in das USA der 50er versetzt! Hoffentlich ist nä. Mal mehr los! read more

Wir haben die Hollywood-Canteen für uns entdeckt, weil die Burger so lecker und riesig sind, und auch bei Lieferung immer heiss ankommen. Zudem sind die "twister" (Pommes-wirbel) so witzig das selbst den Kindern das Essen im Restaurant Spass macht. Die Milch-shakes sind zwar auf der Karte beschrieben, aber auch für "Sonderwünsche" hat das Personal ein offenes Ohr. Wir lieben den Dinner-flair und kommen immer gerne. read more

Ein toller Laden, man fühlt sich direkt in die 50er versetzt. Unser Kellner war sehr nett und hat sogar noch Tipps gegeben, wo man selbst rockabilly Sachen kaufen kann. Die Burger waren sehr lecker. read more
