Unfortunately there's a reason as to why this place has such low ratings! We called ahead and booked slots for a bridal party, but I must have waited 20 mins before I actually got work done -- I was sitting in lukewarm water that looked sort of used and filmy. Some of the staff seemed personable, but the lady who gave me my mani/pedi was not. Most of the time she was looking everywhere but at my nails and just sort of rushed through the motions. I honestly don't feel like she cared at all and I was cut twice. Plus she dropped a tool on the floor, picked it up, and just kept going. I feel sort of bad, but I honestly left without tipping. Not a fan. Had a no paint pedi and a waxing today. The shop is need of a cleaning just...every where. Not sure if the tools were sterilized because they were just sitting in a tray no package being opened. The pedi chair look like some poured acetone on the plastic...kinda chwed up. The table I laid on for the waxing had the same sheets the previous client laid on. When the woman applied the wax she dug the hell out of my chin with the wooden applicator. And then proceeded to apply way too much pressure to make the cloth stick. I was wondering what the hell I had done to piss her off. Although they seemed to know English well, they made no attempt to actually speak to me instead my nail tech and 2 other workers chatted away around me in Philippine, (? not sure). NO! If I could give 1/2 star I would, I wish I saw these reviews before my mom & I went. The tech glued some nails on crooked and instead of redoing it like I asked she filed it to make it even and it still isn't, it leans to the right, then she didn't even check to make sure my nails were even (you can notice the difference between my hands), and finally she put globs of nail polish on my nails then didn't even wait for it to dry a bit before putting a top coat on so it smeared my nails (and there are spots on my nails). The tech who did my moms nails burned her MULTIPLE times with acetone & nail glue and when she used the file, there are spots on her nails from it not painting it all the way. I haven't gotten my nails done in a year b/c it was never done right, I could've used the 55 to buy supplies and do our nails myself read more

I've been coming here for a year or so now, and the service is hit or miss. Tam is my favorite - he really does a great job. This is one of those first-come, first-served places, but I have gotten in the habit of making an appointment (with Tam) so I'm sure to get the quality job I'm paying for. The salon is fairly clean, and since they just got new pedicure chairs I love getting my feet done as well. The staff is mostly very nice - they even gave out Christmas presents to their clients this past holiday. Overall, I'd say give them a try and find out which technician you like and make appointments with him/her. Oh, yeah - I get my eyebrows done here, too. read more

Seemed nice enough. Since I'm not from around here and needed my nails done from an interview, I thought I'd stop by. Was greeted nicely but when it came time to pay, they requested tips in the form of cash. Unfortunately I almost never carry cash and only had a few dollars. After she finished and my nails had dried, all the attendants disappeared to the back and I heard a profane name shouted in my direction. Sad that they base their services on that. Ik I should've walked out sooner when I happened to have my feet "soaking" in the cold water for my pedicure for about an hour before someone was able to get to me. I don't know why they don't just wait until they are actually able to do you. The pedicure that was suppose to be the upgraded one barely had any massage and left me with crooked toe nails. I was suppose to have a gel manicure but by the time they finished the pedicure had me waiting again before they could get to it, it had already been 2.5hrs and found that this "treat" that was suppose to be relaxing was more of a headache and annoying than I wanted. $10 to have my acrylics removed before surgery. All the lady did was pry then off with another nail! I drove all the way from Spring Grove in the snow just to have my fingers hurt and my nails damaged. I could have don't that myself for free! Even after telling her it hurt she keeps going and ignores me. Let's not mention how ran down and dated the whole salon is. Super cluttered, dirty, and overall unappealing. If I didn't have to have my acrylics removed before going to the hospital I would have walked out and waited till my regular salon opened tomorrow. read more

I want to get a pedicure and my nails done. After my pedicure I sat down to get my nails done. He started on my thumb slipped and the drill went into the flesh of my thumb. I ended up with a deep cut. I went to patient first for them to check out my thumb and I had to get a tetanus shot. To add insult to injury the nail salon still charge me. So much for good customer service. I will never go there again and I do not recommend this Nail Salon. read more

This was my second time coming here. The first time the lady took her time, I did a pedicure and Manicure with the jell. First experience great second not so good. I got to the salon about 645 wanting pedicure and manicure, when I was taken back, the pedicure seemed normal however when I went to do my manicure I was feeling rushed, the lady even went back and got her purse before I was finished. My nails starting chipping the next day and a jell should last 2 weeks or more. The first time was 3 weeks. Not ever going back if I want to throw money away I will give it to a homeless person. A gel manicure was a nightmare of an experience!! The lady completely ruined my real nails before the gel polish with the electric file. I literally downloaded the app and signed up for a yelp account for the very first time right now just to leave a review for this place. Just went there to get my gel nails removed, nothing else. It was my first time, and I'll never go back!! They place is dingy, dirty, and not well kept. The chairs are gross , stained and old, and the leather pads where you put your hands/wrists while they work on you are cracked and peeling and disgusting. The wall under the polish shelves looks like 8 bottles of nail polish exploded all over it. To remove my gel, They had me soak my hands in burning hot water/acetone mix. I had to take my hands out periodically because it burned. I'm used to the tin foil removal method, so this was different. While checking out, the guy that did my nails said "$10." I responded by pointing at the sign right behind him at the counter, and saying "your sign says $5 for gel removal." He said, "oh, ok, $5, sorry." Seriously????!!! Gross place, and they tried to rip me off!!!! I'll never go back and I'm telling all my friends, don't go there! read more
