I said, 'That's great because I paid him $545 for charging the ac unit and the only thing he did was replace the expansion valve. That was under warranty. After this experience I won't be using Hughes appliance for my ac repair. Plus when he came back out with the part, I was here and he didn't pull a vacuum on the system. I know the system had a dryer, but still it should have a vacuum pulled anytime you one ac line for any reason.. thank you

They checked out my AC unit and realized I needed a new blower motor. Then he started asking me questions to see if they could get the part replaced under warranty. Unfortunately it was past warranty by about 7 months. They then called back and gave me options I could replace with OEM motor, or a universal part for less than half the cost of the OEM option. I was blown away by the professionalism and integrity displayed. Matt could have easily just offered the OEM part I would have never known a universal part was an option. Also the universal motor appears to be much quieter and just as good. I am very impressed and happy with the fast, friendly and honest work they did. I will never use anyone else for our heating and ac needs.

However, when Mike Camille came out, his service was great, minus BSing me on a part cost to replace a temp sensor on my HVAC residential unit. "Oh that Honeywell part cost..". After getting back in town from work and some minor research, I guessed the part cost was $20-120. However, my bill was $429 (I already paid the service fee). Mike comes out and I ask why it was so much for a part that is $20-120, and he tells me it was $109 part, and bc of labor, " an hour to pick it up and then install".... He was here 40 mins. Last time I checked labor was for labor and not their time to pick up a part they already had in stock several weeks ago (pre scheduled). I warned you - customer service for price gouging.. and I won't be using you all again if this price stands. You said (pleasantly), "I'm not that technical and I'll talk to the boss about it and get back to you". Funny how I never heard back from you or the boss. Nor an email for a customer review... I guess you all forgot about a quote I asked about, as in I wanted a second unit installed in one of the attics, for $12-15k. Comical, you just lost that business and any other business of mine, over $350 worth of "labor" for 30-40 mins worth of time. Well done!
