Overall the facility is large, great parking and dropoff, and nearby the main UT hospital. The staff end-to-end was very helpful with no concerns here. The quality of care and attention to detail on reviewing her situation and needs was good. The only issue I observed was the amount of distance they were having folks walk at times (that have some type of mobility issue). Perhaps staff to help move the more challenged folks (in the absence of their own approved/owned mobility gear) would be a nice touch. We'll be back a few times more, but hopefully not to come back ongoing!

Five months post surgery…read moremy figure started to become disfigured, and today I can't even put my right hand into my pocket because the finger is bent/ disfigured. They have refused to see me, answer my emails, answer questions on my patient portal, or return calls. TOC's reason for not wanting to help? I owe them money. My insurance company paid $16,449.53, I paid $1,219.13 (10/20/22) before the surgery took place, and have made multiple smaller payments on the account since. I even went in and spoke to someone, offered to pay cash to have my finger looked at, and they declined to see me. Feel free to look at my other reviews. I HATE leaving a bad review for anyone. I have a right hand that's barely functional without an enormous amount of pain, and negative reports on my credit, all for a surgery that was suppose to fix my broken finger, not make it worse. The images of the bent finger are from 3.25.2024, and I cannot straighten it. Patient Portal picture is multiple emails sent with NO response. Pictures with stitches were post op.

Regrettably, he retired, and I was referred to a different provider who did not meet my expectations. Several months ago, I scheduled an appointment with the new provider. Everything was proceeding smoothly until I checked in a day before my appointment. To my dismay, I discovered that KOC had switched me back to the provider I had previously expressed dissatisfaction with. Upon contacting KOC, I inquired about the reason for this change. They informed me that I lacked the authority to select my preferred provider. This revelation has shed light on the circumstances leading to Dr. Ivy's retirement. I speculate that it may be attributed to the current operational practices of KOC, which differ significantly from their past methods. KOC's approach to patient care appears to be more dictatorial rather than empowering. By dictating which providers patients can see, KOC may inadvertently impact their health outcomes. Furthermore, the lack of respect shown towards patients' concerns is concerning. I guess I will be flying out of state again to see my doctors. Apparently, they have zero confidence in their patients abilities to make decisions about their own care.

The charming lady that helped me check in couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The nice young lady that greeted me and took me back to the examination room, the x-ray tech was great, they all were very personable and knowledgeable. The facility is impressive and clean. I couldn't have asked for a Dr. any more knowledgeable or personable than Dr. Branham. I want to thank everyone at TOC for an awesome visit and helping me.
