Cha-Chi's Mexican Cantina - Ribs, take away and then haphazardly plated by me. This gigantic feast only set me back $15 (as at 6.1.16)!

Well, the food and the atmosphere were good. What wasn't is the poor and shitty table service. Maybe just close the restaurant guys or consider something called customer service.

We found this place through Menulog and were always delighted by the idea of having a burrito…read morebought to our door but alas, it was never open. Finally, today, when in a fit of panic over deciding how to fill our bellies with happiness and warmth, we discovered it was finally open. Not knowing where to start, we went for a burrito and chimichanga (a.k.a DEEP FRIED BURRITO), both vegetarian, and a serve of guacamole with warm corn chips. Noticing the veto stuff didn't have a surcharge is always nice and this menu is very vego friendly. Then the waiting time began. Roughly 40 mins later, our food arrived hot and fresh. It was awesome. So much better than I had anticipated. The serving sizes were generous, the filling was amazingly fresh and altogether it was tasty and light. Each also came with its own personal serve of (again, massively generous) sour cream and Guach to add to our taste! All we had to do was lavish a ton of cheese on top and then the ascent to nirvana began. We devoured it all, like lions dining on an antelope carcass. I feel full and warm with a happy Mexican belly. It wasn't greasy, fatty or carby. It was light, tasty and epically fresh. I love making my own mexican food but i knowing there's a place out there that will bring me a burrito We will definitely be back for MORE. Especially in the deep cold of winter, when I'm chained to the study books. Thanks for making our Sunday night!

Let me set the scene for you. It's 9pm New Years Eve at Glenelg...well I think enough said really…read morehey? I was famished, all of the good restaurants were closed or it was $100 per head to go in and drink/eat all you can. The golden arches were a calling but I resisted not much of a temptation and was instead drawn to the spicy green and red lights across the road. "Give me all you got and stat!" I cried. Apparently that equated to a chicken and guac burrito with mexicrinkles (yes you did not read that wrong) and a Corona for $16.95. Well what a way to ring in the new year! My freshly heated burrito wrap was packed with spicy chicken and guac and not too much lettuce, my crinkle chips (I refuse to call them mexicrinkles again) were perfectly salty and spicy and the beer topped it off nicely. The atmosphere was clean and the layout was really cute with wooden boxes filled with cacti and industrial lighting in the venue. It has beautiful big windows opening out onto Jetty Rd so you can feel like part of the nightlife without getting abused by any of it. Overall if you need a quick fix meal that is reasonably priced, very fresh and reasonably healthy, this is a great option on Jetty Rd.

I wish there were more Salsa's around Adelaide. One in the city please! This was my first time…read moreeating at Salsa's and I loved it. I had the Veggie Packed Bowl. I don't know what magic they used to make vegetables and rice taste this good! Would definitely get this one again. I also had a taste of the Baja steak burrito and this was also tasty.
