Not sure how it got the ratings it did, however my experience of the food was terrible! Got a Boston cream donut, which had maybe a tbsp of filling. 2 different cheese cakes that had zero flavor and tasted like they were at least 1-2 weeks old and an eclair that I swear was made with dish soap. We've been looking for good Italian bread for a while and heard about Holy Cannoli bakery. We live in Sebastian and figured we'd try it out since it was close, we wanted it for Easter. We had no idea if they even sold Italian bread. When we arrived we saw cookies, cakes and to my surprise some Italian pastries. I asked if they had bread and the young lady who was behind the counter showed me what they had. I was so happy to find the pane de casa, with sesame seeds, so of course we got one. We decided to get caught few pastries and cookies since we were there . The bread was very good, so now I know where to get my bread. The young woman behind the counter was not nice. In fact she acted as though we were bothering her. I wanted to try a variety of cookies as we were having a Memorial service for my late husband later that week and we wanted something local and not a chain. If the cookies had been fabulous I would have overlooked the counter person's bad attitude and purchased there. But they weren't. They were kind of stale and kind of tasteless. They did look pretty. TERRIBLE service. I came in at 5:22 PM and expounded on the flavor of shake the guy leaving just got. I held the door open for him to exit, as his hands were full. I was the only customer inside and as I was about to order the young girl behind the counter first communication was rude; "CAN YOU HURRY? I need to close." I said, "Oh, I'm sorry. Are closing right now?" She replied, "We close at 6:30, but I'm the only one out front." I've been to Holy Cannoli for years (even when he was located in the beginning of the Bay), and the food is always good. I'm unclear why today she was so rude today. read more

Wow! I finally found an Italian bakery here in central Florida. Just like back up north, Holy Canoli (I'm not a fan of the name) offers a very complete selection of Italian pastries, pies, and breads. The Easter bread was just like we had back in New Jersey, when life was simple and innocent--and Holy Canoli is just like that, simple, inexpensive, honest and friendly. After many times of going to this bakery, today was my last. The place has never been the cleanest. Owner was rude and cheap to say the least. Advice to you: Go to a bakery in Miami or in Paris and see how a proper bakery packs their items. You need to learn about customer service and packaging things properly. Owners must understand that without our business you won't have a business. So now you've lost our business, I hope it was worth the fight you had with me over the 25/50 cents each plain simple bakery box costs you. Something went wrong! I paid $18 /lb for inedible almond cookies!! They were beyond chewy!! I brought them to a special event only to see one person after another discard them after one bite. Those who commented were surprised they came from Holy Cannoli because, like me, they expected more from this bakery. Came across it and wanted to try it out cause of yelp. When in and wanted a sausage stuffed item, sadly sold out and have sausage pepperoni mixed. Was pretty good, father got the spinach pie. My family and I went in for my mother in laws birthday to get some desserts at 620 knowing they closed at 630 we just went in quick for desserts! As we entered the store the little girl up front stated " you guys know we close at 630 right?" We were aware and had ten mins to order! My mother in law asked for one thing and decided she wanted something else so she changed her mind really quickly and the little girl behind the counter was getting noticeable frustrated and rudely told my mother in law "we'll make up your mind before ordering" We, at that point, decided the energy wasn't worth spending our money there anymore! We are very loyal customers of this local shop! I wouldn't recommend this place further due to the lack of customer service, and rudeness of the employees! read more

Local bakery in Barefoot bay located behind RJ'S family restaurant. The staff is the friendliest and most patient staff, willing to answer all my questions about what ingredients are in each pastry, or snack. The variety is absolutely amazing, and the selection is wide enough for all flavors of life. I personally like chocolate flavored treats, but since moving to the area I have a new found love for Cannolis, and some of the baked treats there. Highly recommend everyone to stop in and pickup a cannoli making kit. You'll enjoy making your own, and it will taste amazing I promise! read more

First off this place is the bomb!!! The variety of all HOMEMADE pastries, breads, muffins, donuts, desserts and coffee cakes is amazing. The fresh bread he uses for breakfast sandwiches is great. I went to dunkin down the street yesterday and paid $1.60 for a crappy over processed frozen donut. His donuts are maybe 40 or fifty cents more but they're bigger and better. He also makes these calzones which are around $15 and would feed a family. Can't say enough good things about this place. read more

Saw somebody post about this bakery so I had to go try it. We got two cannolis they filled right there and customize for us. We also got the wedding cookies, some rugala (sp), and a combination of other cookies. All of them were great. It's worth the trip to the small locally owned bakery. Going to go again to get some Christmas cookies. They'll be fun to bring for Christmas dinner. read more

At my old age, I have on occasion bought bread in a grocery store that was stale -- shame on me! Never have I ever gotten stale bread at a bakery. EVER ! That changed this one recent Saturday: while my wife and guests waited, and as the water heated to cook the pasta, I ran to Holy Cannolli to get a couple of baguettes. Got home just time to sit down to dinner of Liguinni Positano. Ripped off a chunk of bread and, yuk! It was crumbly and STALE! The end was actually hard! Reached in the bag for the second loaf and just like the first -- stale! I guess Walmart will have to provide for fresh bread needs. read more

Went to Holy Cannoli Bakery yesterday. This bakery has delicious baked items at reasonable prices. We enjoyed a " lobster tail" which is a flaky puffed type pastry filled to the brim with cannoli filling. Out of this world! They offer many other delights ..eclairs, cannolis, cookies and more. You can sit and order some coffee with your baked goods or they will box up items to take home. Spoke with one of the owners who I formed us that he and his partner do not take a salary but instead donate their procedes to various military/ veterans groups. So awesome! read more

I just have to say they have good product here this would be a 5-star review and I'm a chef been one for 32 years I've cooked all over the East Coast West Coast and south America and grew up eating Taylor pork roll . With that said for almost $6 breakfast sandwich I should get at least more than one medium-sized egg and two paper-thin slices of Taylor Ham on my sandwich Taylor ham is as cheap as bologna if not cheaper doesn't make any sense to me why you would ruin a perfectly good sandwich by not putting enough food on it one egg two paper-thin slices of meat is not acceptable if it was a $3 sandwich I can understand that but you're not selling your sandwiches for $3 and on top of that I got a ham sandwich from you before it was a sub sandwich it cost 12 bucks it had four paper-thin slices of ham on the entire sub I know your priority is serving old people in Micco and Barefoot Bay but not everybody is 106 years old that orders food from you I ordered a breakfast sandwich and I'm still hungry it's a shame you guys cannot give better quality service because the product is good read more

Hi! I'm Tiana :) I worked here for a year, was my first job ever. At first it was okay, pay was good and their product was alright. I didn't know much about preservation and checking wellness of foods when I started, so i never questioned the fact that they keep their product in freezers for days in a row. They'll tell their customers its fresh, and deliberately drop their products and just sell them anyways. Their cookies are almost ALWAYS stale as most things. I've tried every product they have and only half are considered edible. I remember being the only one that would clean shop, deep clean. The workers there now just lightly sweep and call it a day. Their shop is fairly dirty, they treat their customers AND workers pretty terrible, and the only decent person there is Mike. If you ever go, give props to Mike :) Other than that, wouldn't recommend coming here. I haven't worked here for a couple months and I was the only one to check the wellness of the products on shelf/ get rid of those that were old. read more
