This is a small place--when you walk through the door you see one big room with one area of seating for about ten customers, a counter displaying various cupcakes, one employee behind the counter, and a small ice cream cooler with about six different ice creams. I was excited to learn (via their website) they have vegan cupcakes! All of their cupcakes on display that I saw were not vegan, so I asked. I was told they don't have any, but they have vegan ice cream. I got chocolate vegan ice cream. It was good. When my husband joined us later, I told him they have vegan ice cream. He went to the counter to get some, but returned to my table with nothing. He told me he was told they do not have vegan ice cream. There was only one small residential trash can at the other end of the room near the register for you to use. THERE ARE NO BATHROOMS! (Isn't it illegal for a food place to not have a restroom?) When I asked to use a restroom, I was told to go to another establishment (5 Guys) to use their bathroom! I couldn't even see where this place was, and I wasn't about to go looking for it because I walk with a cane. Does this employee go to 5 Guys to use their bathroom, or do they have a bathroom they don't want the public to use??? read more

I was in town visiting, had an urge for something sweet, used social media and of course, Smallcakes popped up. We were exactly 15 minutes away and since the movie theater was around the corner. We arrived quaint store. The store very clean and nicely organized. I ordered half a dozen cupcakes which came out to $23. The flavor consisted of 2-red velvet cheesecake, 1 red velvet, 1 lemon drop, 1 smores and 1 lemon drop. The flavors had which were red velvet, had a very chocolatey taste, something I wasn't aiming for. The icing was very tasty and creamy, ( real cream cheese) was utilized. The dulce Leche was descent. My boyfriend and his son were happy with their selections. Is this a spot I will return to? Of course, the ambiance, price and services were superb. I would highly recommend. read more

Stopped in after seeing it every time I'm in the plaza but never going in and I'm glad I did. The young lady working there was so patient and kind with the kids and let them try a few flavors before making a decision. When the gluten free option my friend wanted was out she offered to make her one. Everything we had was so delicious! I had the wedding cake flavor. The store was so cute! We decided to get a little treat whiling shopping. We found this little cupcake bakery. When we walked in it was very cozy. My daughter had the S'mores cupcake and she said it was soft, moist, fluffy and delicious which made me try the Reese's Peanut Butter Cream Cupcake. My son tried the Coconut Cream Cupcake and those choices were delicious so only imagine the many flavors they carry. I wish we stayed close where I could stop each day just to try a different flavor. I can definitely tell you any time we go visit we will stop by again each and every time. If you ever near here and don't stop in then you're missing out. Just no. Cupcakes had no real flavor. The only thing that made the cupcakes differ from each other was the filling in the middle and maybe a change of icing. LISTEN. I'm not much of a cake person at all but I LOVE coming back to this place to try lol the different varieties of cupcakes. I first went to a location in Georgia and it was good but it didn't leave a big impression on me. When I saw this location opened, I was reminded of all the variety from my first experience (GA) and decided that I was in the mood for a unique cake flavor. I tried the red velvet, which was delicious . I've had other flavors since then since I try to get something different every time, but my current favorites are wedding cake (but it's hard to find since they are only made on certain days and run out quickly) and peanut butter cup which is my fall back cupcake if my first choice for the day is gone. Their cupcakes melt in your mouth since they are soft and moist and the buttercream icing is the best. I am OBSESSED with their wedding cake though. I wish it was a regular. I tried the ice cream once on a smash cake and really liked the cheesecake flavor. However the smash cake was way too much for me. I haven't tried their shake yet but a couple friends of mine says their amazing. They are a little pricey, but I only come in for a special treat so I don't mind paying for the quality. I have no pictures since I'm always to excited to eat immediately. It is also nice that they have gluten free and keto options available. read more
