The selection of cigars was good and they have indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of TV's. We stayed to each the Green Bay and Eagles game and you can tell that the place has its regulars, they were all friendly everyone spoke as they came in. It was a real nice, relaxing place. If we lived in the area we'd certainly be on of those regulars with a memberships.

I take my 2 y. o. granddaughter nearly every week. There are so many wonderful things to explore…read moreand learn from. They have a walking path through the woods with a natural playground and sandbox, a bird house building to watch and interactive displays, a mini zoo inside a house with small animals and activities including a treehouse. They also have weekly activities and seasonal events for elementary school kids. There's animals/insects outdoors such as turkey vultures, turtles, a butterfly house and a bird observatory (cute on the inside with toys for the kiddos - be sure to read the story about the couple who opened the center). And a natural playscape outdoors. There's also a bunch of fairy houses throughout the property that girl scouts donated. And lots of trails through the forest. They also have Magic Mornings for ages 2-4 Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays - but register ahead as they only have a certain amount of spots each day (it's seasonal - they have in fall and spring but not summer - see website). It's an hour class for $10 and includes a snack, craft, nature walk etc. They usually pull out an animal each class. It's great to get some time in nature with other kids. In summer, they have a full week of Magic Mornings in their Itty Bitty Briar Camp. Ms. Heidi teaches it and she is just great. They have a different theme every day such as sun, water, clouds etc and there's an activity each day (visit pond and catch tadpoles, water play, craft pertaining to theme). They have preschool pioneers for ages 4-5 and summer camp for older kids for a week in late June. *Just beware in June that parking is limited due to school field trips and you may not fit in either of the lots; you may have to park out front of the house to the left (which is fine - she just doesn't want buses idling there) They also have field trips to gardens and to the shore, classes for seniors, family nature nights, hot smores nights... Only negative (besides parking, which they can't really control), is the "snacks" for kids at Magic Mornings aren't the healthiest. One was cinnamon sugar graham crackers with whipped cream- regular would have been fine. 2 days were cheddar gold fish. Another day was blue jello with whipped cream. And some red licorice - the kind that whips. Fruit Loops were used for colors. So, if you don't like your child eating sugar, let them know you have a dietary restriction or bring your own snack (snack time is ~10 min and probably not needed but the kids always love snack time!). Some options that would be healthier and just as easy would be pretzel sticks, fruit, crackers, popcorn, veggies, string cheese...but I guess those all cost more besides pretzels/crackers/popcorn.

MatchDog Rescue has given me and my bf our first love, Hewitt…read more Before attending the event in Atco, we were given a phone call with a proper run down on how the event would work so we were not confused when we got there. They are extremely communicative, and the events are usually held on Saturdays, but the transport that was bringing the dogs in had troubles and the event ultimately had to be moved to Sunday. I had my phone call at about 11:15 and about 1 PM hours later I was informed about the date change. It is not a typical adoption shelter that I have been to in the past. At the event, there is a ticket system, as in, the earlier you get there the earlier you will be called. While you wait you mingle with the volunteers and the dogs. You get a vibe on which dog feels like the best fit for you. However, be mindful that the crew with MatchDog Rescue does their due diligence and wants the best for EVERY SINGLE DOG. We went to the event with a very specific dog in mind. One that was on the medium/large end. However, the staff that reviewed our application and lifestyle, let us know that the dog might not be the best fit for us in terms of training and size of our home. While it was disappointing to hear, we knew at heart we wanted what was best for the dog and us. As mentioned before there is a mingling period while waiting to be called on by staff. During this period you can meet dogs of all ages, sizes, and all types OUTSIDE of dog cages. We had met several different dogs during this period, just to name a few that I can remember, Nevada, Hewitt, Cassidy, Dukie, and Garret. We bonded with several dogs early on, but with our hearts set on a specific dog, we just enjoyed their presence. However, after being informed that the dog we had our hearts set on was not a good fit for us, we knew which of the many dogs we met during the mingling period we wanted to go on a walk with. We asked if Hewitt was a good fit for us, confirmed he was, took him on a little stroll around the lot, and knew that our hearts were set on him. We went through the process of adopting him and each volunteer we worked with, remembered Hewitt and always told us how he was such a great dog and a cute little snippet or fun fact about Hewitt. There was never a doubt in my mind that Hewitt was not loved under their care. On our way out with Hewitt, the last volunteer that we worked with walked us to our car, ensuring that Hewitt was buckled in and safe and had their very loving and sad goodbyes with each other. Hewitt has been with us for about a week. We are a very calm, but active couple and Hewitt matches exactly that for us. When we are relaxing, he is relaxing. When we are running, Hewitt is right there running with us. It is not something that I considered when I was looking into adopting a dog, but I am extremely grateful the staff at MDR let us know before adopting a dog. If ever in the future I am looking for a second dog, there is no doubt in my mind that MDR will be the first adoption agency I look into.

The man working there was very knowledgeable and helpful in picking out a suitable cigar. As I said I'm not a cigar smoker so I was quite nervous about how strong the smoke smell would be. It's not terrible. The space does seem to have a decent filtration system so it is manageable. In lieu of cigars, I had drinks. The drinks were good. FYI, there is a $25 minimum per person at the bar. The server was very nice and recommended some drinks to me but service is incredibly slow. I mean you place a drink order and it may not come for 10-15 minutes. The space is nice and comfy. Large, lounge chairs and loveseats throughout.

We consider ourselves to be very organized and when looking for vendors for our wedding we wanted to ensure that whomever we decided to go with was also very organized and detailed. Neither of us have attended many weddings so we were a little lost in the clouds with what to expect and what to look for when deciding on our reception's entertainment. After reading numerous reviews on how wonderfully detailed and organized Chris was, we thought we might have found a winner. After first meeting with Chris, we felt very at ease and relaxed as if we were just hanging out with a friend. Chris knows his music. Not just one genre either. He's a well-versed encyclopedia of all aspects of music. Chris was very receptive to our requests of the style of music we wanted to hear at our ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception. While we both enjoy different types of music we were a little overwhelmed with which artists to go with and decided to trust Chris with the majority of the selections. We had a few "must play" songs which Chris made sure that we heard. Chris went above and beyond to ensure not only that we were happy but also to ensure that our guests were dancing and smiling the whole time. Our wedding had a few 90+ year olds and we were unsure if they would be able to get up and dance. However, Chris knew exactly what to play to bring them to the floor. Walkers and all, our grandparents were able to share the dance floor with us to create an unforgettable memory for our entire family. We also want to point out how punctual Chris is. We are very punctual people and we believe that if you're not early, you're late. Chris was always early. He always beat us to our meetings. We could go on and on for days about Chris' professionalism. I wanted to surprise my wife with a song that I wanted to play for her on acoustic guitar at the reception and Chris was not only happy to oblige, but was very excited to make it happen. We spoke on the phone over the weeks leading up to our big day. Chris walked me through the process of what equipment he was going to use and how he would introduce me to the reception. Chris was also accompanied by another DJ named Joe who was equally professional and kind. We met Joe the day of the reception and it felt like we knew him for many years. We were both completely at ease with our decision and had no worries about anything. We felt comfortable and relaxed and a big part of that was because he made sure everyone got to the dance floor, if even for just a few moments. Chris always greeted us with a warm smile and helped us create a timeline that coincided with our venue to make sure everything flowed properly. He wanted to save us from as much stress possible and requested the contact information of all of our vendors so he could speak directly with the venue about the schedule for the day-of timelines, the videographers about microphones, officiant about speeches and introductions, etc. We cannot express how grateful we were to not have to be the middleman and just provide Chris with names and phone numbers and wait for his "everyone's on the same page" email! Our venue expressed how easy and flawless it was working with Chris and that some other DJs cause them headaches. Chris seemed to make the day go easy and smoothly for everyone involved. We also went with a Photobooth through Futurescapes Entertainment and Chris was able to use our wedding template which was created specifically for our wedding. This ensured everything was cohesive throughout our entire wedding. If you're looking for a DJ who knows his craft, understands the business and is eager to please then Futurescapes Entertainment is hands down the best choice you can make. But once Chris set up the lights, it was like a completely different place! Not to mention he was super nice and easy to work with.
