I wish they had pop as a beverage option, but I did have some ice tea, and you could tell it was brewed and not instant. This place is on my list of fish fries for next year.

Rabbi Sanford Kopnick and the rest of the staff and leadership are all warm and caring and really strive to make everyone feel like a part of the family. My kids love going to the Religious School, they even had a great time when we were all virtual! There is always fun and engaging programming going on and not just from the Temple as a whole. The Sisterhood and Men's Club have wonderful events open to the whole congregation as well. I would highly recommend Valley to anyone looking to join a reform synagogue.

Rabbi Kopnick has managed to work well with all the congregates from the children to our senior members. It is a place I feel at home being there and it is like having a "big" family. It's a small group, so it's not for everyone -- though, I think people overrate church size. This is a place where people can really get to know one another, and lasting friendships can form. Though we've moved away, I'm in touch with a number of folks from Good Shepherd, which I can't say for every church I've attended.
