There is a bar area with a very cool dry-cleaner style conveyor belt where they have different bottles on display. There's comfortable seating at the bar as well as tables off to the side. There are also bathrooms in this area of the event space that were clean and had plenty of stalls. This area can be separated from the next room, which is bigger and seems like it can be customized for different events. For this event there were a bunch of eight foot tables for the breweries. There are also a bunch of garage door style windows that can be opened to create an indoor/outdoor kind of feel to the space. Outside there is a large area where there was a stage with live music and food trucks were able to pull in as vendors. Overall the event space lent perfectly to the Craft Beer Festival and could be easily adapted for other events. It also can accommodate a variety of group sizes. We had a great time at the venue and will definitely attend future events here and if I was from the area it would be a great venue to consider hosting events as well.

The conference room had no seating space except for uncomfortable metal hard chairs which were a challenge to sit in all day. Heavy snow and rain caused a leak in the back room which was incredibly smelly. The bunks were uncomfortable, and the food offerings were heavy with few healthy options such as fruit and yogurt in the morning. These accommodations made the conference feel more like a boot camp, and I would not recommend this retreat center.

Both my kids (3 and 7 years old) go here, and my neighbor who is probably 50 takes piano lessons here too, so that's great. The not-so-good: This place is like, run by nobody? There's no reception, just an empty desk. There's nobody to email when there are billing problems, or scheduling problems. They have an online, automated system, which is great, but sometimes you'll inexplicably end up with a class scheduled for a time that's not your normal time, and not convenient. Like - what gives? This would be a 5-star place if they had someone actually managing it.

They offer a cry room for little children and the day we went they were having a pancake breakfast. Many other activities through the year. They have a very busy festival especially considering their space is limited. Annually there is a spaghetti dinner which comes from La Rosa's. All during Lent, they have Fish Fry Fridays. Also, there is a Parish Gold Outing, too. Women Together is a group of women of all ages who meet monthly to read and enrich their faith. Youth ministry open to all teens in grades 9 - 12 no matter what high school they attend. Euchre tournaments, Knights of Columbus, Young Family group and a prayer ministry. So many to get involved, meet other parishioners and to grow your faith.

The bands they have are actually really good, and draw quite the crowd. The crowd is a good mix. Not the huge amount of teenagers I've seen at others, and not a whole lot of drunks, which makes it nice. The people running the booths are incredibly friendly as well. The gambling tent was set up nicely. They even opened up a new table towards the end of the night when there was a line. Most of the dealers are good people, and won't rip you off, even if the money is going to the church. They have refillable mugs here for beer, which is actually a good deal if you're going to drink, at least 3. Definitely one to hit up every year.
