Op is an extremely picky eater. The staff worked diligently with me, tested different approaches, adjusted his meals and schedule, and created a specialized feeding and diet-management routine based on how he actually responded. He now loves his food routine and eats like a horse. The eating problems I had before his stay have been completely managed. Their amazing dog-grooming and nail-trimming team solved another problem. Op had been constantly itching, and I was reaching the point where I thought medication might be our next option. After trying several things, they found exactly the right shampoo and skin-care routine for him. Once they began grooming him regularly with the right products, his itching stopped. He now looks and feels fantastic. The daily report cards were one of my favorite parts of his stay!! They included pictures and short videos, which honestly thrilled me. More importantly, they showed employees actively engaging with the dogs, reinforcing good behavior, and calmly redirecting play when needed. I was particularly impressed when those interactions had nothing to do with Opie. It demonstrated that their dog training, behavior management, and careful supervision weren't being performed for my benefit--it was simply how they cared for every dog. Some team members have reportedly been with Bed & Biscuits for 10, 20, or even 30-plus years. They understand canine body language and group dynamics, know which dogs interact well, supervise group play closely, and mentor newer employees. Their ANNUAL WATER DOGGY DAY was something truly special! Op loves, loves, loves water and other dogs. The team created an entire water playground with sprinklers, pools, and activities everywhere. The pictures were ridiculously cute. He looked like he had arrived in doggy Disneyland. I unexpectedly met the owner, Meghan, when I called to check on Op. She is delightful person and unquestionably an animal whisperer. She seems relentless curious and deeply committed to searching for better products, smarter programs, and new ways to support dogs' physical, emotional, and mental well-being. I cannot speak highly enough of her and her staffs commitment to my dog while he was there. A huge thank-you to every person on the team who helped Op throughout those 66 days. They didn't merely watch him--they observed him, learned who he was, identified problems, tested solutions, and gave him what he needed. I really appreciate it. She was angry that I hadn't gotten there sooner, I was angry that this person who claims to be a dog trainer and board dogs wasn't able to handle my dog. He's not perfect, but he's not bad when treated properly. I paid her for two nights, not three. He had not spent the third night, she didn't finish her job. My dog came home filthy and in need of a good long walk. In his life, my dog has stayed with many friends, and been to quite a few boarding facilities. I've never had something like this happen before... quite the opposite, in fact. Don't take your dogs here if you love them. Just don't.

Emily was able to find four days to work with my pup that fit my busy schedule as well as give me the tools I needed as a Yorkie owner. She is patient and left me detailed notes on what I need to do to keep the commands she taught him. She even worked with my kids so they could use the same commands. She also made sure to take him around town to socialize him with other dogs and people - he came home exhausted from the fun day! I'm proud to say we still use the commands she taught Georgie (it's been about 5 months) but sadly the breed is tough to housebreak - he's smart but particularly stubborn.
