All Costco layouts are pretty much the same, so I was easily able to maneuver my way through where I needed to get to. We were there for the weekend, so we wanted to stock up on tequila and seltzer water as well as try some food at the food court. Lots of different options to pick from, and you do see some savings, especially coming from the US. The store was very clean, and people were friendly. I was able to pay with my card inside the store, but it was cash only at the food court.

But I came across this great find after reading some other helpful Yelp reviews. I was drawn to come here to replace my colorful ceramic dog from Mexico that was stolen off my porch in DC. My partner was so upset, that he called the police to say it was stolen (only to have the cops mishear him and think he said our ACTUAL dog was stolen). It wasn't until we started describing the color of it that they figured out it wasn't a real dog -- my partner saying "it was yellow with green polka dots and pink." I immediately asked for any ceramic dogs and to my surprise they had over 10 options and it was the exact kind of dog that was stolen. Ergh, ceramic dog! I paid $40 USD, which I'm not sure is a good price or not. I guess I could have bargained but I was just so happy to have my ceramic dog replaced. And this time, he's not going outside and will be my ceramic indoor pets. Take note, DC Mexican ceramic dog nappers!

There is also a water heater in there plugged into one half of the singular receptacle. He plugged the washer into the other half of the receptacle and it fried the circuit in the washer. Only THEN did he go to his truck and get his voltage tester. He checked it and said, "That plug is 220. We'll get it fixed as cheap as we can so it won't cost YOU too much." He never called with an estimate. Two days later he called me and said, "We fixed it. You owe us $300.00 more." Really? I just paid $417.00 for the washer I never got to use. BUT, now it was going to cost me $717.00. And, I said, "How am I responsible?" He said, "Because the power was 220". I said, "I didn't know that and I didn't plug it in. So, I went to look at the water heater and on the front it says it's 220. He could have seen that too. So, tell me- how was all this my fault? So, I did some simple math and decided to buy a used washer on Marketplace for $150.00 instead of paying them $300.00 to fix the one I paid $417.00 for - that I never got to use because they fried it. And now they get to keep the washer I paid them $417.00 for. So, I saved $150.00 by buying another washer for $150.00 rather than pay them another $300.00 for them to fix the one I bought from them that they fried. So, the whole fiasco cost ME $417.00 plus another $150.00 washer I didn't buy from them is a total of $567.00. If I'd have paid them to fix the washer they fried that I paid $417.00 for + $300.00 more for them to repair it because they fried it - it would have cost me a total of $717.00. Aren't they a great appliance sales business? And they can keep the washer I paid $417.00 for - that THEY fried and then fixed - and sell it again for $417.00. That PLUS the $417.00 I paid for the same one that I never got to use because they fried it. That's $834.00 profit for them minus the $300.00 to fix the one they sold me that THEY fried 1/2 hour later. If it DID cost them $300 to fix it - they'll still make $534.00 all told. Their total monetary profit is $534.00. My loss is $417.00 for nothing, plus a $150.00 washer that I didn't buy from them is a total profit of $567.00 for ME. Even though it was THEIR mistake - They just insisted it was mine. I didn't plug it into 220 and fry it. THEY did. That's what I call running an honest business. Should I thank them? NO. And, I WON'T....See, I live off of Social Security money because I'm Permanently Disabled for the rest of my life. So, essentially - they profited off of extorting money from a crippled Senior Citizen who had zero culpability in this exercise in stupidity...

This place is probably pretty typical, but we want to call it out. We have purchased two fountains in Northern Baja previously, but decided we needed another, smaller one. In addition, we wanted a couple of concrete semi-circular benches, which will be around the fountain. This place was great! Natanael walked us through the whole process (while his mom watched...) and made it very easy. We decided on what we wanted, then drove down to Splash while the objects were being re-sealed, and had lunch and a few Margaritas, then came back and took our treasures home. So for a fountain, two benches and two statuettes, we spent $245. We are pleased and will be back.

So, browse, find something you like, and come back with the dinero. $$$ We happened to come here a while back for an anniversary ring for my wife and got a great price. She really liked the style of it and they gave her another deal on a smaller ring for just like 75 bucks more. The items normally retailed for at least twice the price. The cash saved us more too, on the sales tax. I pop in here to see what they have once in a while, never know what I'll find.
