This place has pretty much anything you would need for home décor. We ended up getting a vintage truck to use as a coffee table. It seems legitimately old and worn, if its a reproduction someone has some serious skills. I read that a lot of items come from Asia (I saw a lot from India) and apparently they have buyers that just go out and look for this type of eclectic furniture in bulk and one offs. Rugs are some of the best deals I have seen (good quality and good price). If you need a piece to really stand out (and no one else has) this is the place to go! Interesting store full of what I imagine are closeouts. They have many items from home improvement, to furniture, to decor and lighting. Seasonally they have outdoor stuff too. The staff was helpful, especially the manager, and they even helped me load my car. It's huge. They have small incidentals all the way up to construction goods like cabinets, round doors and bathtubs carved from a single stone. They have everything in between as well, including furniture, mirrors, pillows and more. Some of the stuff is not great. I'll be honest about that. Some is a tad overpriced in my opinion. However, you can easily find a good selection of excellent pieces that are a great value (especially if you are buying the big stuff). They have huge mirrors that are surprisingly affordable, and giant tables or kitchen islands carved from hardwood that are a steal in my opinion. I think this place is best suited for decorating a commercial space, but you can find pieces that will fit your home as well. They tend towards the exotic, vintage, earthy. Like table stands made of branches, wood stumps covered with cushions and covers made from Indian sarees. They also have discount items from places like Target.com. The big items will be fairly consistent, but many of the other items will change regularly, with new stuff coming in almost every day. It's worth a trip just to check it out. read more

Purchased a few kitchen countertops which were very nice. Remolded our bathroom from items purchased at their last location and have purchased unique furniture there/ creative items for house flips. However went in for a door and tile we had worked out pricewise for a patio project and they had raised the price of the stones in a few days to out of budget. Not cool when you can't hold items and go through the trouble of borrowing a van and driving thirty minutes to the store. Been searching for an accent rug to finish off my newly updated kitchen. From stores and online I had bought - and returned - 7 - yes, 7 rugs. A friend suggested Home Emporium. It is a bit rundown but the staff is very friendly and helpful. They directed me back to rugs and the best salesperson ever! She took over asking what size, colors, asking if I had pictures - she was awesome. She directed me to piles of rugs, grouped by sizes and helped me sort through them. She was very knowledgeable about her inventory and very observant and intuitive as I looked over the rugs. I don't know her name but she has shoulder length silver/gray hair with bangs. We decided this year to install new flooring with our income tax, well we checked out Home Depot and it was well over 1200.00. A friend is installing it and pointed us towards Home Emporium and let me just say we are glad he did. At first we were saying how much is it really going to save us?!?!? Well it saved us about $700.00 compared to Home Depot and a few other places we checked. I can't wait until the end of the month when it is finally installed and we get to enjoy it!! Home Emporium is a great store that offers so much and has exceptional customer service. Our first time in the store, we found our dining table. It stopped us dead in our tracks. We had to have it. One problem: it was being wrapped up for someone to take home. I approached one of the workers wrapping it up and found out he was the store manager, Michael. I asked if this was the last one and he confirmed my worst nightmare. Then he offered me a ray of hope. He said he was going to try and get some more in, but it would take maybe up to 4 weeks. I gave him my number and got his business card. He said to call him once a week for updates. I did so for 3 weeks, each time having a friendly conversation with him. Finally, I got a call from Michael that his latest manifest coming into the store included one of the tables and it had my name on it. A week later I was in the store buying our dining table and shaking Michael's hand. I am so grateful that he took the time and effort to get another table for me, making me feel like his favorite customer. That's 6-star service in my opinion, but Yelp only goes to 5. If you're looking to add to/renovate/decorate your home, I insist you head to Home Emporium and see what they have to offer. We've been back and continue to find wonderful things to add to our home. read more

I didn't even know this place existed. It is located in the spot where the old Wal Mart used to be in Tri County so you know there's all kinds of space. Great materials for a fraction of the price I went to help pick out tile for the house I'm living in a couple months ago. Every employer we saw and talked to was pleasant and very helpful. I wish I had more things I needed to buy there. It's like the Kohl's or TJax of home goods. They have end of lot or discontinued products at an enormous discount. We saw similar tiles at the Tile Shop. It cost 20% of the quoted price from the Tile Shop at Home Emporium and we got 100% of the quality. Really great outdoor pots at incredible prices. we got four large pots and a heavy 2" tall garden figurine for $100.

I had occasion to visit Home Emporium last week. I can't tell you how lovely the people who work there were to me. I was especially impressed with the man who does the garden store. I bought two large chimneys (Fire Places for the Outside) and he loaded those things in my car without breaking a sweat and with a million dollar smile. It is quite a trip for me to go to the new location but I will be shopping there again. read more

Home Emporium is a great store that provides quality knock-offs of popular chic furniture. In the past year, I spent over $2 grand on a dining set there. For 8 months, I was waiting for a matching china cabinet to go on sale & I stopped in the store to check. The manager was the rudest jerk to me ever! Before I said anything to him, he said "i know what you are going to ask me & the answer is no". I was going to ask for a discount on the cabinet, because it hasn't sold in so long. The manger said it didn't matter. He was NOT going to give any discount ever & it could sit there for another 18 months. I will NEVER shop this store again. How dare they treat good paying customers like that! read more
